Vandy played a much better game against Georgia compared to us last week

There is some truth to the pass blocking focus. I think the only real hope on the O line was the post from the Packer player(Chad Clifton?) earlier in the week. Good read if you haven't read it.

If im Dooley, I would honestly consider moving Teague back to WR. Put Art Evans in his place. I know Evans isn't much of an upgrade, maybe not one at all, but Teague just isn't cut out to play CB. Teague would be a better option at WR than Zach butterfingers Rogers imo.

I wouldn't move him back to receiver. I'd just place his ass on the bench. I'd rather see Justin Coleman getting smoked. At least, he has a chance to improve. Teague just sucks, plain and simple.

Franklin is to Vandy what kiffy was to UT. His demeanor is not much different. Just glad that we have Coach Dooley. To save all you negavols from a hemp necklace - just quit watching. Next year when things all really start coming together for CDD and team,,,just what will you find to whine about???????

Teague isn't a corner. He never has been. He doesn't look natural at the spot. He tries his hardest, but you can tell he's just not cut out for the corner spot.

I'd love to see him move back to receiver. I recall him playing pretty well there during his freshman year.

I agree, he's not a good defensive player by no means. However, he did make a few catches at receiver his freshman year. I just think if he really wanted to contribute then that where he needs to be. Going back to what I said about Z. Rogers though, why is the guy even playing out there? He drops almost everything thrown his way! Is Matt Milton seriously that bad? Ive heard Milton is talented, but just has trouble understanding the offense. I think the kid should play more to build experience unless he really is that bad, but I just cant imagine him being worse the Z. Rogers.

Anyone have any info on that "altercation" after the game? I was confused by the whole thing and haven't seen much about it. There was something in a 'Bama forum, but that was it. Seems like Franklin started something with a Georgia coordinator or assistant.

Read back a few posts. UGA radio said it was a "discussion" with Grantham calling out Franklin about Vandy doing a lot of chop blocking.

Vandy is much improved this year. Not so much on a talent level, but on a mental level. They are focused and seem to fight the whole game. Combine that with home field advantage and Georgia coming off a good win on us, then looking ahead to the Florida game there is no suprise here. Good thing Vandy didn't upset Georgia or some of the people on this board might have lost it completely.

So Dooley should be fired. Obviously, when Vandy does something and UT doesn't, it's time for a change.

End of sarcasm.

The OP delivers a solid point for argument and then the Buzz Dooley fans immediately flame the OP for calling for his head.

It is a shame that too many of you grew up with the "everyone gets a trophy" and "You are all winners" soccer mom mentality.

Criticizing our coach is going to happen people. Get over it just like that fact Buzz Dooley's harshest critics (including me) have to get over him being here for more years than will be necessary to prove he will never be the coach we need.

I don't think we will be favored by much at all over Vandy. If Bama hangs 50 on us and USCe hands it to us at home, Vandy could be a tough game mentally, as well as physically.

They'll get a fight out of Vandy just like last year. Probably be a pretty ugly game. 14-10 range sounds about right.

Been watching Vandy play some this year, they look like they have improved on both sides of the ball. The only thing that has improved for us was the passing game (until our recent injuries), in every other aspect of the game we have taken a huge step backward.

I still don't get why some feel we are headed in the right direction and have a prayer of competing in the SEC in the next few years. I'm not blaming CDD but a spade must be called a spade, we are horrid!

Yeah and our "much improved" passing game has never done it against a winning team. I'm not sure how "much improved" it really is.
