I understand that schools make the most important games more expensive so they can make money. The reason I posted this is because Vandy and Franklin made a big deal about having their fans fill Vandy's stadium. Well the price of those tickets do not lead someone to believe that it will be Vandy fans buying the tickets. The price of the tickets is so high because deep down Vandy knows that no matter how much hype they build up around their program that when it comes to football in the state of TN, UT fans rule! So what better way for them to make money then charge as much as possible for the tickets.

You are reaching badly.....Tennessee charges more for the good games too.....it really means nothing at all.

Ha ha, I'll just get ticks through my Vandy relatives (sigh, yes, I know, I have some) and wear orange head to toe amongst them.

Only thing keeping 102k outta there is capacity, not the extra 15 bones per person. Tennessee fans have proven we don't like the expense of sporting tickets but we keep buying. Loyalty will not be contained by a Hamilton and a Lincoln.

That must be why we charge so much for season tickets, cause WE are always one of the 2 teams on the field...

Did UT even have 102k at a game last year? Empty seats were visible for every home game including LSU.
