Vandy is better than TN

I'm going to stick with my score prediction in that thread (Vols win a close one), but all day long I've just been thinking...

Pavia hasn't played in Neyland, has he? I'm too lazy to go look.

In any event, we saw UT win a tough game in Gainesville by simply being the better, more physical team.

And Pavia is way overdue for a lesson in humility.

I think he, and Vandy, get it in Knoxville on Saturday.

Vols roll.

We are very similar teams. Strong offence, weak defense. We've played mutual teams. We typically scored more points but gave up more points. Our D is worse than theirs. Our offense is better than theirs. It going to be a high scoring game. Both teams score north of 35 points. The winner could easily put 50 up. This game is going to be devastating for the loser. CJH better come out and have the team ready. I love him as coach but I know that if he loses this game, the number of fans that would be comfortable with him moving on will jump and the talking heads will get vocal about it. Recruiting will waiver due to uncertainty on the coaching situations.

He got rolled in Neyland West after being spotted 14 points but hasn't played in the real thing yet.

No one is quaking in any boots. The low IQ poster said that Vandy sucks, their QB is a loser and their coach is a loser.

I hope and believe we still win. But an acknowledgment of Vandy’s success doesn’t equal fear.
A lot of Vol fans refuse to believe Vandy is this good. I hope they’re not proven wrong but Vsndy has a strong team, not just Pavia. Their 2WRs are on same level as ours, their 2TEs will play in the NFL, their RB is explosive. Their OL is solid. Defensively like Tennessee, their strength is the front 7.

Vandy has a solid strategy going forward using NiL & the portal. They won’t be the walkover in the future for anyone in the SEC

All that said, I hope the Vols roll or win a close one, just win. When Vols win, it’s forgotten the next day pretty much. When Vandy wins, it’s continued all year.

IMO the closet Pavia has got to playing in Neyland was when they met Bama in a day game in Tuscaloosa. Bama won 30-14 I think Pavia had less than 200 passing.
I think Neyland will be louder but Bama has a better D although the young Vol D is playing better.

Thats not true. Even if it were why does it matter?

Alot of Vol fans are always slobbering all over something or someone else other than the Vols. You ever pay attention to this board before a gater game?

I refuse to give them any respect here and I see the same from others. Why it bothers some of our fans so much is baffling. Say something negative about Kiffin and all hell breaks loose with some. Lol.

Anyway, no hard feelings towards you or anyone else. There's just a line I won't cross because in the grand scheme it doesn't matter.

To any Vanderbilt fans out there lurking, Vandy Sucks!

I’ve been a fan longer than most on here have been alive. I remember Bowden Wyatt! I’m comfortable with CJH coaching even if we come out on the wrong side of the score with Vandy. This Vandy team is good, well coached and play with purpose. I’m not sure what "Vol fans" would like about a loss to Vandy but I’m a Vol fan no matter what. As to talking heads, I’m not sure about this phrase, maybe talking out of another piece of their anatomy. With coaching searching searches going forward at LSU, Florida and Penn St I doubt casting CJH aside to join the wilderness of coaching searches would benefit us at all. My memory isn’t that bad when we were building this program brick by brick!

I'm tired of all of the talk. I want Vandy to walk into Neyland, full of pride, and leave with their collective asses in their hands.

You really cant say what team is better than another team until they actually play a football game. This thread is stupid.
