I actually agree. I can only see him bolting for a top level job like USC, Texas, etc. And not sure he will get that opportunity.

If he continues to improve VU, he will.

Mack Brown is not long for Texas and Kiffin will be on the hot seat next season. That said, I don't think either of them get fired next season, but if they did their respective AD's would be doing themselves a disservice if they didn't contact Franklin if he has another season next year, like this year.
