I don't understand why their so upset out there. We're still nice enough to leave all the 2 and low end 3*s they can handle instate. Oh wait....perhaps that's the problem.

Mr. Franklin over there knows this very well: With The Vols current sucess on the recruiting trail.Followed by the union of Vols Fans that this year, this season is Vandy's last chance for a win. He knows that, once we return back to our place amongst the top of the College footbal world, that his job there will suck even worse than it is now. He has to move on past Vandy this year & get another job. If he does not leave there by THIS seasons end,his stock starts to plummet. Look for him to grab the next coaching job that opens up. This season to him this year is much like CUM's last season at Florida. He knew the run was over. Vandy will sink back down with that Anchor back to the bottom of the barrel. I say I hope he stays though, I'd like to see him get his ass deep sixed with that anchor.

2nd fiddle. It's Vanderbilt. Would have to be a violin. About the fifth or sixth too ... Close behind Memphis, UTC, MTSU, & TTU. Prayers going out that ETSU quits before they drop another seat in the violin pecking order.

This will backfire on Franklin. All this does is show everyone and recruits that Franklin is worried about what is being built in Knoxville. Notice how Butch isn't taking shots at any other university. It's because he knows that he is doing very well and doesn't need to worry about what vandy is doing lol... Long story short. Franlkin is jealous & scared.

He knows. It's just an incredibly stupid analogy given that he's a FOOTBALL coach commenting on UTs FOOTBALL recruiting class....classic "nerd ass guy trying to be clever" statement that falls short
