I was feeling pretty depressed about our team until I watched the replay of the Aggie/Commodore game tonight. The Aggies. Right now are wishing to have the problems we do. They looked awful. I’ll take JG over their QB any day of the week. Their offense looked pathetic.

As always, To me Texas A&M is the most overrated team in America.............and always is every year. We can beat Texas A&M !!!

Guarantano is better than Mond. Mond turns over the ball like he’s handing out coupons. He’s horrid. And when he throws the ball, everything is a fastball.

From last year:
JG: 16 TD - 8 interceptions
Mond: 20 TD - 9 interceptions

Yet Mond is the turnover machine?

Forgot to add 8 rushing TDs for Mond.

We won our opening game, a conference game on the road and you are depressed about our team? Enjoy the victories!

It’s silly to depressed by the way we played. We showed flashes of greatness but were terribly inconsistent, kinda what you’d expect in these circumstances. My only real complaint is the play calling wasn’t run oriented enough and I thought we made a few dumb in game choices. Oh well I’m seeing major improvement from last season

Mond had 4 fumbles against Vandy. Can’t remember how many unforced ones he had last year. He’s a turnover machine.

JMO on A&M

1. First game
2. First game and they were playing Vandy. How many times over the years have we (UT) had 3 times the talent and struggled to beat Vandy...even in the Manning years for the most part. There's just something about playing Vandy that's just hard to get your players attention.
3. A&M is playing Bama this week and were trying their best to not show much against Vandy and it could have cost them. Sometimes when you play that way it can bite you.

Mond is the most overrated QB in college. His stats say otherwise, but he never EVER comes through in the clutch.

Are you arguing which smells worst? They both are painfully mediocre compared to the hype they received.

Mond is far above when it comes to rushing. But yeah, Mond is probably only slightly above passing. There are definitely others that are better.
