Vanderbilt vs. Tennessee Game Thread

I'll say the Vols closed out well, they were up 13-0 to start the game, and Vandy never got within 10 again. :rock2:

I thought Howell's 3 in the first half was the key play in the entire game. Vandy was creeping back, had some mo and were down only 12 (I think) and he drilled a very confident looking long 3.

That was pretty big. Things were getting a little rough there for a bit, but even then the Vols still held a 15 or so point lead.

I really don't think there was a key play. The Vols dominated this game and Vandy was never really in it. The Vols should have never lost to Vandy in Nashville. UT is obviously a better team. The 4 games without Lofton did suck, but it did allow for some players to learn and understand they have to step up and make contributions. The half court D has really looked good the past two games and we are getting nice contributions from role players like Howell and Childress.

Vandy is very hard to beat at Memorial. We handed them the game, but, at that point in the season, that was our M.O.

Great win Vols!! Shut down half court defense and Lofton a little closer to being back. Great effort.

Especially sweet since Stallings is such an ass.
