Wow. This is the best half I've seen from the Vols all year. They are playing EXTREMELY well.

Ramar Smith has seemed to really have improved his free throw shooting the last couple of games.

He really has, a guard like him needs to be solid at the line because he's going to get there a lot.

He's been in a bit, but I don't think Pearl is working him too hard at this point. The other Vols seem to have a handle on things. They'll probably rest him in the second half.

The Vols are just looking sharp today. Shots are falling, the extra passes are being made and the defense is just playing tough.

They have to watch out for that post-halftime slump though.
