OFFICIAL VISITORS
DB MARQUISE GILBERT
Gilbert, who plays at Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College, is one of Tennessee's top targets among the several junior-college defensive backs in the 2022 class who have received scholarship offers from the Vols. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Gilbert picked up an offer from Tennessee in late August and now is being pursued by more than 25 schools. Auburn, which hosted the Florida native on an official visit the weekend of Oct. 29, appears to be the Vols' main competition for him and has received the lone prediction for Gilbert on the 247Sports Crystal Ball. He also went to Colorado on an official visit in September. But he's now ready to take a closer look at Tennessee this weekend.

UNOFFICIAL VISITORS

CB CHRISTIAN HARRISON
The Class of 2022 prospect from Woodward Academy in College Park, Ga., is set to return to Tennessee on Saturday, just two days before he's scheduled to announce his college choice. He recently named a top three of Tennessee, Florida and Nebraska, and he announced earlier this week that he's planning to reveal his commitment on Monday. The Gators recently have been viewed as the Vols' main competition for Harrison, who's the son of former NFL All-Pro safety Rodney Harrison. The lone prediction on the 247Sports Crystal Ball points to Tennessee as the team to beat, and with Florida now searching for a new coach, the Vols remain in good shape leading up to Monday's announcement.

FOUR-STAR CLASS OF 2023 WR CARNELL TATE
One of the nation's top wide receivers in the 2023 class, Tate is planning to visit Tennessee for the first time this weekend. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Tate, who plays at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., has heard plenty from the Vols since getting an offer from them in April, and they have become more of a factor in his recruitment this season. Ohio State and Notre Dame, which have received one prediction each for Tate on the 247Sports Crystal Ball, currently are among the top contenders for him. The Chicago-area native is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 1 wide receiver in the 2023 class.

CLASS OF 2023 TE JOEY SCHLAFFER
Schlaffer, a junior at Exeter Township High School in Reading, Pa., has been committed to Penn State for a little more than a month. The 6-foot-6, 205-pound Schlaffer visited Tennessee in late July after receiving an offer from the Vols in June. He now holds offers from more than 15 schools. Schlaffer is ranked the No. 399 overall prospect and No. 25 tight end in the 2023 class and the No. 13 junior from the state of Pennsylvania, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite. He's the younger brother of former Penn State offensive lineman Michal Menet, who was a three-year starter for the Nittany Lions.

CLASS OF 2023 RB DESEAN BISHOP
A junior at Knoxville's Karns High School, Bishop earned an offer from Tennessee in June with a strong showing at one of the Vols' camps. He has been back to Tennessee for a few of its home games this season, most recently attending the Vols' game Nov. 13 against Georgia, and he said this week that he "probably" would visit them again for Saturday's game. The 5-foot-10, 188-pound Bishop has received offers from a half-dozen schools, including Michigan State and Virginia Tech. He rushed for 3,179 yards and 34 touchdowns during his junior season, averaging 7.2 yards per carry.

CLASS OF 2023 LB ETHAN CRISP
A junior at Mount Juliet (Tenn.) High School, Crisp received an offer from Tennessee in late June during his first visit with the Vols and now has offers from more than a dozen schools, including Florida, Michigan, Auburn, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Crisp returned to Tennessee on Sept. 11 for its home game against Pittsburgh, and he's now planning to be back on campus Saturday to see the Vols take on the Commodores. Georgia, Virginia Tech, Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Ole Miss are among the other schools that have hosted him for games this season.

LB KALIB PERRY
Perry, a senior at Great Crossing High School in Georgetown, Ky., has been committed to Tennessee since July 31, when he chose the Vols over Purdue, Cincinnati and Kentucky. He also went to the Vols' home games Sept. 18 against Tennessee Tech and Oct. 16 against Ole Miss, and he most recently returned to Knoxville on Nov. 13 for their home game against top-ranked Georgia. The 6-foot-3.5, 215-pound Perry is currently one of two projected linebackers in Tennessee's 2022 class. He's ranked the No. 749 overall prospect and No. 72 linebacker in the 2022 class and the No. 6 senior from the state of Kentucky, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.

CB MICHAEL CARAWAY
A Class of 2022 prospect from Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Miss., Caraway announced his commitment to Southern Miss on Nov. 15. But with Tennessee still searching for junior-college help in the secondary, the Vols recently have shown interest in him, too, and he's planning to travel to Knoxville for Saturday's game. He initially hoped to visit Tennessee last week but wasn't able to make the trip. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Caraway played at Jefferson Davis High School in Bassville, Miss., before enrolling at Pearl River, where he has recorded 22 tackles, six pass breakups, one interception and one tackle for loss this season. He also holds offers from Arkansas, South Alabama, Charlotte, Toledo, UTSA and Texas State.

FOUR-STAR CLASS OF 2023 DL MASON ROBINSON
A four-star prospect in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, the 6-foot-3, 230-pound Robinson has received offers from Georgia, Oklahoma, Penn State, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Boston College, Pittsburgh and Morgan State. He's a junior at McDonogh School in Owings Mills, Md.

CLASS OF 2023 WR RYNE SHACKELFORD
A junior at Keystone High School in LaGrange, Ohio, Shackelford has received offers from Kentucky and West Virginia. The 6-foot, 175-pound Shackelford is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 46 wide receiver in the 2023 class.

CLASS OF 2024 ATH MALCOLM SIMMONS
Simmons, a sophomore at Jonesboro (Ga.) High School, received his first offer Oct. 2 from Arkansas.

CLASS OF 2023 QB WILL PRICHARD
A junior at The King's Academy in West Palm Beach, Fla., Prichard has received offers from Auburn, Vanderbilt, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, East Carolina, UTSA and Rhode Island. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Prichard has yet to be rated by 247Sports and in the 247Sports Composite.

CLASS OF 2023 LB TYMERE BURTON
Burton, who plays at South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, Ga., received his first offer Nov. 13 from Morgan State. The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Burton also has drawn interest from several major programs, including Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Nebraska and North Carolina.

CLASS OF 2024 LB MASON CURTIS
Curtis, a sophomore at Ensworth School in Nashville, Tenn., has received early offers from Vanderbilt and Eastern Kentucky.
