Anyone know why Vanderbilt has been wearing both a new black helmet and the regular gold helmets ? The black ones will clash with Missouri next season :ermm:

My guess, the "new helmet" is now the new craze, like the "alternate/black" jersey. A ton of teams are now doing the multiple helmets thing. Remember the crap that went down 2 weeks ago when the rumor was we were wearing orange helmets?

only reason I ask is because I collect the SEC mini helmets - seems like the loser teams are always making changes - Kentucky - Missy St - Vandy
