Vanderbilt can’t handle success.

😝. Not being too sensitive. There isn’t a reason to grab your junk in front of others, esp kids.

And it’s sad that some think it’s okay. Just not a place for it, esp in sporting event.

Unless people in here can document where they have been calling out this behavior previously, they are being way too sensitive and getting irked solely because it’s a Vandy player. This isn’t a new thing of athletes across many sports doing.

Didn’t both of his brothers get arrested after the first game of the season for public intoxication, and assaulting an officer? There’s nothing about Pavia or around him that would make me think he has any level of respect for anyone.
I think you may be correct.

I was reluctant to comment as I am far from perfect and shouldn’t cast stones. But, there was a child present. Like it or not, kids model their behavior on what they see and hear, esp from athletes.

I would say the same if it was a TN Vol player.

Once again, this isn’t a new thing. Players in various sports have been doing this move for decades. It didn’t just suddenly happen.

Some people really are too sensitive. I encourage you to not watch any of the Major League movies. I’m sure you would walk out of the theater within minutes.

And this sentiment is exactly why society is in the shape it is in. Finding this type of behavior acceptable certainly sets the bar pretty dang low.

Ah yes..... People not calling out something an athlete does as far back as the 80's is why society is where it is at. Great one!

I remember last year thinking he was a nice story but now...he seems like a real prick. Happens when you experience some success I guess and everyone tells you how great you are. Their coach too...geez.

Go back and watch the broadcast and then watch the 30 for 30 on that game. It was great stuff lmao
I did. It’s not shown on the broadcast, as the camera angle is too high. That’s why I didn’t remember it happening. I have watched that game many times, as I love watching old NBA games.

But Spike Lee, in the documentary, does say that Reggie grabbed his crotch, so I’ll take his word for it.

uh. Yeah. It did lol,the fact we were getting pummeled during this very game should prove that.

Doesn’t make Pavia any less of an arrogant prick.
Getting pummeled defines struggle. How you react is the point here. I’ve seen y’all post. You all don’t handle success nor struggle well either

Glass houses, casting the first stone, etc

No excuse for that. Only trash people do stuff like that.

Sorry I saw this after posting mine. Immediately this was what I thought of. Also thought about the WGWTMFA quote as well. Kids don’t think about stuff in the moment. Of course Pavia may qualify for social security by the time he finishes his college career.
no worries. Most adults don't handle criticism, failure, success, etc well either. It's human nature. But man does this board love calling out when others do something that looks bad.

He's being "mentored" by Johnny Manziel and given that Manziel was flipping off fans Saturday I'd say he'd probably do good to get a better mentor. Manziel doesn't sound like has matured all that much.

I have no issue with Pavia’s antics. I love confident QB’s who talk the talk. The problem is he’s at Vandy so he’s already got one arm tied behind his back.
The real problem is he didn’t back it up when it mattered. You can talk, but not after you cost the game with a fumble and a pick.

The fan is more embarrassing than Pavia. The old guy drank beer the whole game and feels big enough to talk because the team he cheers for won. Come across like someone who can’t control his emotions
You’re comparing a “drunk” dad to a guy in white spandex groping himself. I can’t agree.
