Anybody know of any good beaches around Nassau? Heading to the Bahamas on a cruise in a couple weeks, not really feeling the Atlantis this time.

We usually stay on the ship at Nassau.

We were actually considering doing that. None of the excursions look that great either. And the ones that do look cool are stupid expensive.

Junkano Beach & Queens Staircase are some cool things to do there. Junkano Beach is legendary. easy walk from the port. You have to walk past the marketplace. Tons of souviners. You will be harassed as you walk by, as people want to shop at their shop. Queens Staircase is neat, you can also visit Fort Finncastle which is nearby.

Newport is a cool town. We drove past the tower, had no idea about the history. Luckily I forced my family to stop & take some pics.
