everybody wants to fire Banks. I’m confused. We saw the defense last year right? We’re missing both our starting corners and multiple DTs. I didnt like how they looked Saturday either but it’s still early in the season. That was a top 10 team we played. Give it some more time

LOL, Bud Foster is 66 years old and he's been retired from football for like 6 years.

Also Banks has done an incredible job. One of the best defenses in the country last year. If we had last year's D with this year's O, we'd be title contenders.
Might want to research...Foster is back on the defensive staff at VT as an analysis. He was brought back to help get the defense up to snuff.

Bless Banks heart...1 year out of 5 with a good defense being one of the highest paid DC in the land. If and buts were candy and nuts we'd all be happy at Christmas time. Good grief.

That's right and they are immediately eligible to play with whatever team they transfer to. Also, since they have not played four games, they still have an option to transfer and redshirt
No they’re not, they can transfer immediately but can’t play till next season. GBO

Only because Heupel keeps coaches around. Get back to me when we win any championships with Banks at DC.

There are 5-6 defensive coaches who have won championships in the last 15 years. 3 of them are currently head coaches. One of them is teaching PE in Alabama and is banned from the game. That leaves Golding or Knowles. Which one should we get??

THIS^^^^^^ has been UT's MO for DECADES! Only ONE time in my lifetime (1998) did it all come together. We can NEVER be great on both sides of the ball in the same season. It's unreal. There always seems to be that missing piece. Whether coaching screw-ups or that ONE dynamic player to make all the difference. It's frustrating. This year... injuries have been a factor, seemingly more than usual.
Twice...2001 team had it all as well....we just knocked LSU's QB out of the SECCG and had no answer for the backup.

Tell me again why we should be looking at a team that is 0-3 and got wacked by Old Dominion? We are better off developing our young players. Campbell and Robinson have both played well so far.

Don't forget to get back to me....Winning big games is more more important than the Beatles...They sucked, unless you were high in the 60s.
No need to get back to you, who's made up his mind already (such as it is). Old adage: "Don’t get into a vomit contest with a vulture". Bon appetit.

With the firing of the UCLA coach, we may be in the running for their QB. His dad thinks pretty highly of him----just a thought
