Also Banks has done an incredible job. One of the best defenses in the country last year. If we had last year's D with this year's O, we'd be title contenders.

Who knows I'm sure they can find a judge somewhere that would allow it. By the team someone else appeals and gets it overturned the season would be over. Worth a shot

I agree . . . But this is the issue . . . Seemingly we are on this “seesaw” of good defense but the offense sucks . . . Or this year it again looks like we have found gold in an underrated QB and the offense looks good, but the defense is not good.

Until we are good on both sides of the ball with depth . . . And good on special teams . . . We will be at best 9-3 / 10-2 with luck and 8-4 will be the norm.

I'm not ready to sound so sure. Huepel has demonstrated to me that he doesnt like to wholesale go after portal guys. He's EXTREMELY selective in who he chooses and much prefers to recruit and develop guys out of high school.

We can never have the 2 be elite/good at the same time. We always have ham, no burger....Kool aid, no sugar....peanut butter, no jelly.
