Looking at his twitter bio it does appear he lives in VA. Kinda weird that their main recruiting insider doesn't even live in Michigan...makes him being there a lot less relevant now.

My gut keeps telling me Michigan is way too obvious for a kid that has gone through this much trouble to keep things quiet and preserve his moment. I'm still choosing to believe we win out Tuesday.

Generally, AP would start letting everyone down if he was conceding. Hasn't happened as of yet. Tells me at the least the coaches haven't been informed they are out.

Ill say this...the quotes are extensive on Savion being a smart, good kid, with a smart, great family. They seem to be very detailed oriented, and very disciplined, with EVERYTHING highly thought through. One would have to also guess that they have paid FULL attention to what has been going on at Michigan. And, if they did that, they had to have seen the mountain of evidence proving Michigan cheated their ass off, and lied about it; no matter the NCAA punishment...that was a farce.

I think all of that could have some effect on his decision, at least a little. If they paid attention, they know Michigan got off scot free. If they know, like everyone knows, Michigan cheated on this grand of a scale, and basically got away with it...they now have to ask themselves, "Do we want to play for cheaters? Cheaters who went so far as to affect other school's games, including the National Championship?"

The kid may be looking at this from a completely different perspective. Players with paychecks could care less with what the program can get by with. Especially if that is the program they want to play for. I would say the agent is putting on his best sales job about now.

Yes, seriously. Have you followed this recruitment at all? The family is overly concerned about keeping his decision a secret. It’s all about his “moment”. Players and their families absolutely read their threads on message boards. It makes perfect sense in this case that they would do anything they can to keep people guessing.

Austin responding to someone saying he’s riding with him since he was more than fifty-percent confident…
I backed away off of that over a week ago and said that the kid was just too quiet and that I would at best call it 50-50.

It should only tell you that I don’t know… The kid is still talking to Tennessee, so I’m not ready to just say that he can’t end up here. Obviously Michigan feels confident and EJ is going to the announcement but that is not 100% fail proof either.

Also went on to say probably not the best optics that the Michigan mod has spoken with the family this week and coordinated the announcement to be streamed by Rivals.

If it does end up being Michigan, and it seems to be heavily trending that way, then I’ll be interested to hear from SF afterward on what happened between now and the end of July when he felt extremely confident things were headed our way.

So if he commits to UT, he’s not taking ONE question from the lone rep from the one UT website at his announcement? Mmmkay.

And let’s not act like he’s announcing from Argentina. VA is an easy drive for someone from the VQ team.

Losing a top RB isnt the end all be all. I mean, it isnt. Not sure what else the staff could have done here. I'll spare the 'cant close' bull shaz.

Yes sooner or later we gotta start winning these etc etc. And all that.

The big thing to me is why would anyone choose Michigan over Tennessee? I think the 'optics' are changing as Tennessee being a National brand, a place where big time elite offensive players can put up silly numbers.

Landing TK will be massive.
