and then we have the Stoerner post. I don't want to put words in his mouth but he made it seem like unless something drastic happened we had him in the bag
Stoerner is typically accurate. Even when the "decision" changes, he usually gives a why and what happened from our side. He is also honest when we're not the leader or are out of the equation.

He's all VOL .

Gonna have the #1 QB and the #1 RB in the same class...as well as 2 absolute BURNERS at WR in King and Bey that can stretch the field and get wide open in a way we haven't seen since Hyatt. Combined with the 6 Fr/RsFr WRs we already have on campus that are ALL Bluechips: Matthews, Staley,Smith,Jackson,Dodson, and Jefferson...we are gonna have the #1 offense in FBS again like we had in 2022.

**EDIT. AND 5* Salesi MOA !! LMAO

This 2026 class is THE class that is gonna bring a Title back to Rocky Top with playoff runs in 26, 27, 28...

Its great to be a TENNESSEE VOL.

Google doesn't catch everything. And net worth is a moving target if someone doesn't have to provide that information. I personally know people at Sprye and have an idea who the donors are. Charlie Anderson and Thunder Thornton are thought to have over a billion. Randy Boyd could possibly be in the group but has never been confirmed. He's been pulling in 40-50 million a year according to past publications with all of his business ventures. Bill Sansom of HT Hackney could be in that group. Larry Pratt that started the check cashing places is loaded. Basically, you have no clue who has what. You say we are 'under gunned' then tell me which schools are out gunning us and who are the billionaires that annually donate to their athletic department?
I don't think you and I are really disagreeing here. When you read Endowments at Texas is 47.5 billion, Michigan at 19.2, and Ohio State is at 7.9, and ours is 1.4, I assume that the NIL is probably a similar distribution. I 100% agree on the fact that we don't know how much alumni are worth. It is clear to see that ALOT more money is donated to those three Universities. Then again, those Universities may have a bunch of Billionaires that don't care at all about college athletics. All we can do is speculate. I personally think it's idiotic to assume said billionaire alumni are going to dump tons of cash into NIL. If you think that, than you're great at spending someone else's money. They don't become billionaires by giving it away. Not every billionaire has Phil Knight's opinion on sport.

If any Michigan fans were watching the Moa commitment, I'd be getting nervous right now. Utah fans were just as confident Moa was picking them as Wolverine fans are that Hiter is picking them.... Michigan fans should be afraid, very afraid 😂 😂
If I was a Michigan fan. I would be more worried about hanging on to what I have got, when the NCAA hammer drops.

Not sure how endowments ever got conflated with NIL. Virginia has a higher endowment than Ohio State. How is that working out for Virginia when it comes to athletics? You mentioned Phil Knight. Oregon's endowment is below ours at 1.6 (Tennessee's is 1.7 as of the end of FY2024) Endowments include various assets like for instance take real estate. Is Texas going to sell one of their structures for more NIL money for the 2025 season? It's pointless in this discussion. To your point, yes we are in agreement. My main point was, Hiter is not going to pick Michigan because they choose to liquidate one of their assets. He!!, it may not be all about NIL. But it's easy to surmise Tennessee's offer is substantial enough to have his interest seeing that it's down to us and Michigan with Ohio State and Georgia on the outside looking in.

It hurts me because I had a 678 area code for a long time.
Since people drug endowments into the Savion Hiter recruitment, you could boast as to how GT has a larger endowment than Georgia. It would be pointless to Hiter's recruitment, but people seem to enjoy the endowment measuring contest.

Stoerner? Hope he doesn't... drop the ball on this one.😎

Then again. '98 champs beotch!

I can’t tell if that’s a shot at me since I commented on it so I’ll simply respond…..yes….. 🤣

Lol. Not really a shot at anyone directly. Was just taking the opportunity to make a snarky comment about the fair market value of the school of music in Ann Arbor playing a role in reeling in a high level RB from Virginia.

Moving on from endowments.

Hey, how about that Savion Hiter? Everyone getting their boom cannons ready?

I do not like Michigan whatsoever. Have a lot of Michigan fan family and coworkers. They’re the worst. I remember having never talked to any of them about football, but they knew I was a UT alum and fan. After Purdue stole that game from us in 2021, one of them texted me a wink emoji and then 2 more went out of their way to give me s*** the next day. Beating them out here would be just so sweet. Tennessee beating, impeding or even minorly inconveniencing UofM in any way is something I am all for.
