'26 VA RB Savion Hiter

Hiter is absolutely 1a/1b along with Keys rn

Gray 1c

All coveted, all of them realistic, all being pursued with equal intensity

This staff wants to win

After being handcuffed by NCAA penalties and negative recruiting by other schools early on, it is finally a fair fight. I'm looking forward good days ahead.

I get what you’re saying but Michigan has put 3 backs in the NFL the past 3 drafts. That and TE are their bread and butter. With that said, the kid chooses the Vols.
I mean Tennessee has put two in the past two drafts and Jabari Smalls has a running contract with the titans as a practice squad player. Still making more than most of us. The difference is not as much as you may think

You mean the OL position makes the offense go. What’s the common denominator for programs that consistently run the ball well?
Of course OL cycles through just like all positions in college. The proof is when all 3 RBs in a rotation come in and produce. Also, you can see it more in the NFL in terms of OL. Teams that produce in the run game no matter what RB comes in, even mediocre ones

With Hiter, it’s reached the final stages with a decision coming soon. There was some chatter about July but we feel like August makes the most sense, much like David Sanders a year ago when he waited to do it with his classmates around.

Hiter is down to Michigan and Tennessee in our estimation. It certainly doesn’t feel like UGA or Ohio State have any late momentum in this one. Hiter is clearly a low key personality and because of that, information is much harder to get because people around him don’t do interviews or talk much.

We continue to feel like the Vols have done a fantastic job in this one with De’Rail Sims really building a solid bond here on the Vol side of things.
