Who changed the subject? We beat them for one player. They still reportedly had the highest payroll in CFB, and they won a NC. I'm glad we got Sanders, but would you rather have Sanders or a title? I'd choose the NC. And as for Hiter, I've repeatedly said I hope we get him. But Michigan is throwing money around. They did it to get Underwood to flip from LSU. They will attempt to do it with Hiter.

You need to pull that stick out of your butt. I haven't said Hiter is going to Michigan. I have no idea who he'll pick. I hope it's us. But I do think, overall, Michigan probably has more money than we do.

Never stop closing. Coffee is for closers
6 year old Barrylee. It started back in the earlier pages of the thread, folks were talking about closing with recruits. Someone mentioned coffee and closing and then JacketVol said coffee is for closers. I just took off with it saying we are going to be strong closers on this one. Hence, strong coffee became the theme. It’s a message board, just having fun. Sometimes you have to read the thread to understand the convo. GBO

105 now. not 85.
I asked in another thread, but is this official now? I’ve seen a couple folks in here say it but haven’t seen anything official. I do twiXter, or Facebook or anything so I don’t get much info unless I see it here

He didn’t change the subject. You just didn’t discern it the first time.

It’s weird that you’re arguing about this. He said Michigan wants to spend big like (their rival) Ohio State did last year. He said nothing about Ohio State beating Tennessee for Sanders. He’s referring to the well known fact that Ohio State had the most expensive roster in the country and won the NC with it. Tennessee beating them for Sanders doesn’t change either of those facts. It’s really not that difficult to understand.

Iirc it doesn’t take effect until next year

Edit: 2025/26 Academic Year. So pretty much immediately. I was thinking 2026.

I will say Sims has adjusted nicely on the trail. Hiter can be elite and 27 board is stacked like crazy at the position. If Sims can close these guys over 26 and 27, him and Inge have drastically elevated the ceiling of recruiting classes under Heupel. Being pushed to hire outside his circle could prove to be HUGE
what's the word? any WR coaches out there?

Meatchicken took a commit from another RB. Could just be 105, or could be stinky cologne. Either way, hope Hiter chooses Orange.

Per VQ

Savion Hiter had a tremendous visit last weekend and the Vols are pushing hard in this one. We don’t believe he’ll do anything in the month of July and then the question becomes, does he do something in August or September? As we round out the month of June, it’s hard not to like where Tennessee stands in this one with Michigan being right there as well.
