'26 VA RB Savion Hiter

So are we actually 5 days away from his announcement or has that shifted?

Not sure if we have all the details yet but this is one of those I’d like to watch live if I can.
I believe it will be on one of the ESPN family of networks, which is why he’s doing the 19th. That date was dictated by the network and doesn’t have anything to do with Underwood’s birthday.
That came from either one of the VQ pods or one of the national On3 pods after he announced his date

All eyes remain on Savion Hiter ahead of his announcement next Tuesday. Maybe things start to leak out but we would be shocked by that with how tight lipped this recruitment has been. It’s our belief that he has had dialogue with his finalists over the last week but has continued to play things close. We don’t believe he has told any schools they are out or that they are his choice,

Remember when this thread was about Savion Hiter?

Michigan got a slap on the wrist. Fine and additional game suspension for Moore. Not sure that’s gonna dissuade the kid.
Oh noes. We cheated to win a Nat. And then lied about it. I swear you cant make this **** up, oh wait. I did. Several fans did. We predicted that Meat Chicken would get caught, and nothing would happen. Meanwhile we had schollie reductions AFTER complying. they cost us a shot at Playoffs in 2022.

Id be furious if I were DW. NCAA is pure unfettered horse grade garbage water. Plays tough when people do thy bidding, and cower to liars and cheaters. That's called enabling.

also, they cheated on the field. caught red handed gaining a competitive advantage over a very long period of time. you would think that would be a huge win for the ncaa. do they not exist to ensure that the competitive field is as fair as possible that people aren't just throwing the rule book out?

it just further proves that the NCAA gets turned on by specific players receiving benefits during recruiting or at any point on campus. they existed solely to keep the players powerless and discourage their payment. it's kind of disgusting.

they've ruined players careers and dreams for far less.

I still feel like Tennessee makes the most sense for Hiter. We run the ball a lot and should have a strong line for him to run behind .... To be the feature back for an SEC team that runs as much as we do, with Sanders on the line? Trying to be as objective about this as I can be, Tennessee seems like the smart move for him.

.... and for some reason when I typed Hiter, it autocorrected to "Hitler."

Kinda weird.

Not specific players or benefits. They go after specific programs and give others a pass. You’re alway better off telling them to F off like LSU did than turning yourself in.

Tennessee would’ve taken a much different course likely if Haslam had still been in power. It never gets reported in the first place if Haslam was still in power. The divide between boosters made Tennessee an easier target than programs like Bama or Michigan. Once we finally got on the same page and told them to F themselves, they were essentially powerless.

Initially I thought Hiter would be a TN Vol.
But now I have think he is Michigan bound. Wiltfong has him announcing Michigan on Tuesday.

Hopefully I’m wrong as it’s been yrs since we recruited an elite RB. This kid seems to be the real deal and a RB we (possibly) haven’t had in years @ Rocky Top.

Edit- years since TN has recruited an elite (5*) RB.

You mean like the guy who just set the single year rushing record last year?

Oh and, Sampson also holds the program's single-season records for rushing touchdowns, total touchdowns, and scoring.
