'26 VA RB Savion Hiter (Michigan commit)

Rumor I heard is Michigan will have the hire of the new HC complete by the end of the weekend. Dillingham is the only one I think that's interested currently, considering the mess the entire AD is in. Deboer could be a possibility, but it'll take a ton of money to get him. 🤷‍♂️

That would be a pretty good hire. Sounds like he was having problems getting money for NIL at ASU.

But if they do that why would they wait this long to get him to Michigan to try and right whatever is left of the ship

Not sure, as I said it's just a rumor at this point. Personally, I think they're hoping Deboer loses this weekend and they'll make another run at him. If he wins, they move on to Dillingham, who has no where else to go currently.

DeBoer is going to force Alabama to either give him a pay raise or show their cards. Some folks are saying Alabama would LOVE for another school to buy out his contract.

I don’t think DeBoer leaves. Especially with the AD and everything being a cluster F over at Michigan.

He works at his Alma mater surrounded by fairly decent weather. Michigan is obviously a bigger opportunity but i would personally be happier where he is.

I feel the timing of the Sherrone Moore firing was very dirty. The administration waited until after signing day to get the HS recruits to sign on the dotted line. Then they fire Moore a week later knowing that the recruits can not enter the transfer portal until 5 days after a new coach is hired.

Now here we are, almost a week later with no new coach announced. The recruits are hamstrung and unable to do anything. Yet Michigan is getting all this extra time to cozy up to the recruits and manipulate them into staying after also deceiving them.
Yes, it was a dirty timing move. Most of college sports is that way now. Players aren’t coming for the love of the school. It’s what school pays the most, what school can do the most for me, and/or what school can put me in The League the fastest. NCAA football is more the minor league of the NFL, than it is kids going to get an education.
