'26 VA RB Savion Hiter (Michigan commit)

The problem is that even with Keys, we will still be 4-6 in SEC recruiting.
That ain't good enough. Ceiling at that rate is 9 wins with a 10 win season every 3-4 years depending
on our schedule.

I'll take that. 9 win seasons with a 10 win season every few years. Sign me up.

And for those who don't think its good enough, I have 3 words for you -

Dooley, Butch and Pruitt

If anyone cares about taking the next step, these are the type of recruitments & players you need to start winning out on.

Again, if you're content with going 8-4 to 10-2 every year with an occasional playoff berth then I can see why a lot of you defend every recruiting miss.

When you're in a holding pattern for 3-4 years with nothing improving while asking the fans to choke up more cash at every turn, don't be surprised when people complain.

The Adidas deal made a ton of sense on the surface, however if it doesn't result in better recruiting then the move from Nike is moot and unnecessary from a performance standpoint.

If you're good with school admin lining their pocket without substantial roster investment & improvement, then you'll sleep just fine at night.
Judas Priest. Eat something. Maybe some goldfish or dry Cheerios.
And stay off Caillou.

going to the playoffs was nice, but i think the better barometer is actually competing with teams like bama, georgia and florida at their building.

regarding Adidas, i'll be shocked if it actually has any sort of impact on football recruiting

Really wanted Hiter. I still think this one goes down to signing day. I don't think Michigan will be very good this year. It will be a rude awakening when their fanbase realizes 5 star QB recruits don't just magically dominate college football as freshman.

I think Hiter was guided toward choosing Michigan becuase of the RB performances under Harbaugh. Sherron Moore is a different coach though. I don't think this year will be as kind to him though. Going to be alot of pressure too if they also lose to Ohio State.

Vol fans need to keep calm. Show love and be patient. Heupel will prove once again this year that his scheme produces for RBs.

Not sure where you're getting that none of these things are happening financially. That's part of the problem here. People go on these rants without doing their due diligence as to what is actually going on within the program. We offered a sizable NIL package here. To the point that us and Michigan priced out UGA and Ohio State. People complain because they are miserable with themselves. Most of the people whining about the prices going up don't even attend the games. Kinda like you taking a shot at the Adidas deal that was announced about a week ago. You're already making an assessment on its impact before anything has had the proper time to be evaluated. People like you will never be pleased and nor should anyone try to please you.

Also those 10 win seasons will be playoff seasons and depending on the schedule and possible expansion, those 9 win seasons could be as well.

Isn’t that the goal? To play for a chance to win a title? Get hot at the right time or be a bad matchup for your draw and ya never know.

Look guys, this isn’t as complicated as some of you seem to think. Michigan’s a run heavy team, and won the natty two years ago (no semantics, the NCAA didn’t take it away from them and never will, even though they should. Those players and future recruits will always see Michigan as the championship, they don’t care). Sucks we lost him, but I think a lot of you guys really got overconfident with this one.

It happens. Time to flip Keys, he’s the better target anyways.

I think this is it unfortunately... It would be nice for Thorton, Tillman, Sampson, etc. to have good years. Hell, I thought Darnell Wright was a slam dunk but he is struggling too.
Darnell Wright had a good year last year. Has had some consistency issues during the offseason/preseason that I hope gets cleaned up.

Eh if Michigan goes 8-4 this year they’ll be happy bc they’re gonna be starting a true Fr QB.

He just followed Tennessee Football along with Volscoops so could be a good sign fellas👀
Never fall for this one. Kids and their handlers are savvy about hiding the trail on social media.

In the "old days" kids would try to throw the media off the scent by showing up in the school they weren't picking gear.

This one had been done way back in April. ON3 did a great job of milking it for hits. Feel bad for the Vol fans.

I would say prepare to be shocked, but I can already tell you don't pay enough attention for that to happen.

Would have been nice to have another quality RM, but we have 4-5 who can compete with anyone. RB is one of our strongest positions this year.

I thought he was waiting on the Michigan ruling. When they skated on all the cheating then that was it. Don't mind having a little less talent to have higher character quality. OH well, GBO!

So every player that committed to UT post-Pruitt scandal has lesser character too then I suppose? Committed to a school caught cheating. The audacity. What about those players that stayed? Turrrible character to stay at a school caught cheating amirite??

Yeah, you're pretty clueless on this one too. So you can take the condescending tone on how 'recruiting' works (as if you have it all figured out) and take it back to your Connor Stallion board and discuss your upcoming 4 loss season.

Not if they lose to Ohio State. But, now that I look at their schedule, it is a joke! Despite playing an extra conference game, Michigan only plays one top 25 BIG 10 team, Ohio State. Their only other tough game is against Oklahoma. Everyone else is a joke..
