Coaches backed off a few weeks ago

not a good fit with the culture of our program.

Not a high character player, imo

The NCAA doesn’t have the ability to strip a national title.
They can at least vacate regular season games to send SOME kind of message. The lack of them vacating games won by cheating or any postseason ban is just the NCAA signifying they're truly powerless and dying. It would be better than nothing, but I guess $20 million is punishment enough if you ignore that Michigan had over $250 million in athletics revenue in 2024 alone.

They are more happy & satisfied being correct when “predicting” when we lose out on a prospect than being wrong and winning the battle.

Agreed! Makes no sense! I'd rather get a player and be wrong than lose a player and be right! Some miserable narcissist's on here. This place used to be great. I've never seen a more unhappy, miserable group of people. So unfortunate, the majority of our fanbase are great people.

I wanted to add that to my post but was cautious because usually people roast you if you imply the scheme may be the problem. But, I agree. It’s a pretty large sample size now that in 5 years we’ve landed one 5-star skill position player (non-QB) in Mike Matthews and that’s it. Maybe we don’t need them in his scheme to be effective, but it sure would be nice to have the talent that these other title contenders have….
Oh absolutely...it's a mathematical certainty. And in all fairness, I'm not even saying the scheme is a problem. I'm just saying other teams will tell kids that the scheme is the problem and then point to our lack of NFL success under Heupel. That perception is tough to combat whether it's actually true or not. Only way to change it is for guys to go have success. Hopefully Sampson goes and makes the most of his opportunity. Jaylen Wright, same thing. Same with Donte Thornton, although he's already trashed the system publicly which doesn't help our cause.

You know this, in life, the loudest people are typically negative, small syndrome, & factually incorrect individuals. Unfortunately they get the most coverage too

Okay first of all let me say Michigan sucks anus but you can’t say that a bad program. I personally don’t believe in Moore their coach but it’s a major program and a bad fine academic institution with a lot of connections nation wide that can open doors before and after a football career. And I know it sucks being second but we’ve won a lot of these recruitments lately like Rouse, Sanders last year etc. You recruit against elite programs with a ton of cash you’re going to lose some.

Lmao...Vols are one of the best rushing offenses in the country year in and year out since CJH took over. Since 21' Michigan has only been ranked ahead of us in rushing once...in 22'.
Cool, now tell me what that has to do with success in the NFL. Maybe read my post, ponder on it for a moment, and then you won't look like an idiot when you post the first thought that comes to mind.

Would've liked to have landed him, but we seem to be set-up well at RB. I do respect how the kid handled his recruitment and am glad he's not going to a rival.

I thought he was waiting on the Michigan ruling. When they skated on all the cheating then that was it. Don't mind having a little less talent to have higher character quality. OH well, GBO!

This would be the perfect ending to this thread. It won’t happen…but it would have been nice.
I just hope our drooling mouth breathing brethren on social media remember with the transfer portal set up the way it currently is that it's not a good idea to act a fool on a recruits account. A lot can change in a year.
