The negative recruiting aspect towards Heupel's offense is real. And it's not going to change until we see pros succeeding in the NFL the way OSU, LSU, and Bama do.I donāt think this is a āstaff canāt closeā situation at all, but it has felt weird to me that in 5 years here we have not had as much success with true top-end blue chip skill player positions as I figured we would with an offensive mind like Heupel. I just donāt get it. I figured weād land more then just Mike Matthews when it came to 5-Star level skill players in 5 yearsā¦.
Because he and his family led us to believe he would come. Iām sure AP will comment on it later too as he usually hides details until they have announced. We only recruited him for this year and felt he was going to come weeks ago. He wasnāt all Michigan unless he played our staffThis dude was always Michigan from the start, not sure why our insiders believed he was coming here
I think this is it unfortunately... It would be nice for Thorton, Tillman, Sampson, etc. to have good years. Hell, I thought Darnell Wright was a slam dunk but he is struggling too.The negative recruiting aspect towards Heupel's offense is real. If the NCAA was ever going to do anything to Michigan, it would have happened last week. The āAA did the bare minimum so it would come across as them at least doing āsomething.āNow would be a great opportunity for some of you to practice restraint. With Michigan on probation we could be back in the mix shortly. They have proven to be incapable of following rules and they probably have the largest microscope on them right now.
