'26 VA RB Savion Hiter (Michigan commit)

I cannot understand that people pay money to have their information orchestrated and spoon feed to them by services whose primary objective is self-perpetuation rather than information dissemination.
The ulterior motive nullifies any validity or trustworthiness for me.
The services sell their souls for easy access, then tell us what they're supposed to tell us, and expect payment. 🤔

It's like the conferences and NCAA proclaiming the virtues of their officials' objectivity and competence.

I have no concerns about the RB position and the rushing attack, even if we miss here. The product is on the field, and we can run the football against anyone, even with below average QB play. The key to our offense and scoring tons of points is the QB position and being able to throw the deep ball to open the field everywhere.

With all of that said and with the fact that we have put RBs in the league, why in the world would an elite RB not want to play for Heupel and in this offense??? I don’t get it. Maybe that changes today.

One alternate angle to the announcement today…maybe Hiter and his camp are intentionally putting out smoke to Michigan, because they wanted the announcement to be a complete surprise to who he’s going to. Remember, his camp was upset about the leaks 3 weeks ago on social media that he would be a Vol? Surely he wouldn’t change his decision affecting his future based off that??? Maybe AP is helping create that smoke? I don’t know…just an outside thought I have about this recruitment in the late stages.

Why’s everyone acting like it’s already been decided? Nobody thought we’d land Moa either
Because everyone wants to act like they know based of cryptic posts from AP. People need to remember when big recruits want privacy or their moment, AP does a good job selling fear without ever saying we are out of it.

And yet here you are awaiting a 17-18 year olds decision.

Well whether or not Hiter chooses Tennessee, I hope and pray this fan base can be classy about it if Vols come in second.
I think most have already shifted their hopes to Keys. I have at least. Too many "signs" pointing toward Michigan in the Hiter recruitment for me to being engaged. Today is their QB's birthday, Michigan has writers in attendance, and we don't, Hiter's agent is tight with Michigan HC... He's a Wolverine but I don't care.

We've got Lewis and Bishop for the next two seasons. They are solid, IMO. Maybe we'll get our Heisman hopeful in the next class or out of the portal. Or maybe Lewis goes bananas this season behind an OL that's slightly better than last year's group. Now that I slow down enough to think about it... I actually kind of expect him to do so.
