'26 VA RB Savion Hiter (Michigan commit)

It's Michigan, or someone from VQ would be at the announcement in person. Simple as.

Now let's lock-up Georges.

This.

If anything this could be a blessing in disguise. RB isn't a big need for us. And by not paying Hiter top money it'll give us more funds to throw at Keys who is the far more critical recruit. And like you said Georges in the 2027 class is the better RB recruit and he's the guy we should go all-in for.

So if he commits to UT, he’s not taking ONE question from the lone rep from the one UT website at his announcement? Mmmkay.

And let’s not act like he’s announcing from Argentina. VA is an easy drive for someone from the VQ team.
What exactly is easy about a 12-hr, 800-mile round-trip drive to an announcement that is being livestreamed on this thing called the internet by a kid who has already put out the idea that he isn't doing interviews following the announcement?

I've got news for you...not all of Virginia is just across the state line in Bristol.

As a Virginia resident who lives 8 hours from Knoxville, I can confirm it’s a massive state and not an easy trip home.

As if Savion Hiter and/or his family members follow University of Tennessee football fan internet message board forums, and therefore he began following Tennessee players on Instagram in order to give Vol fans more hope that he will pick Tennessee, just because they want us to watch the live announcement?

Seriously? LOL!

I highly doubt that is what's happening. This would be called "over-analyzing."

What we as fans think and do, is not important to these recruits, nor should it be.
Boo’s mom says hello!😂😂

This is reminding me of the Moa commitment. A lot of negas say no way, people mentally preparing to be let down. Im not giving up here.
The negas ALWAYS show their asses leading up to an announcement. Then are mia when we get the guy. See Moa a couple weeks ago. Its crazy! I swear they arent real UT fans

turn our concentration to Keys and put the money and full court press on Georges... we aren't getting this kid.

Each fanbase looks at the other and says "makes zero sense why he'd choose the other school"... Assuming the NIL offering is the same, unless the kid just wants to play in an easier conference and likes the cold weather, not sure why you would want to play for a program with so much negativity surrounding it right now if what people are saying is true about how solid the family is... Guess the agent won out...

Almost 3000 rushing yards in a season is not solid numbers. It's elite. And we did it last season
Really, WE ? How many yards did you have??
We were 11th in the nation I believe.
Also believe only 3 playoff teams were in the top 20.
What’s that mean? Maybe it’s an overrated stat and elite “players “ win Championships.
I believe Ohio st was 50-52 in rushing.

3 stars from mid state U produce solid #’s .
Top players produce championships.

There is zero evidence saying we’ll get a top player through the portal.

If there’s one area where no one can complain or say we aren’t good enough to win big (I realize that’s not in this fanbase’s DNA) it’s the rushing game

They won a NC 2 years ago. I don’t think anything is all that negative around their program tbh

I'll take unrelated stats for $100 Alex.

Losing a top RB isnt the end all be all. I mean, it isnt. Not sure what else the staff could have done here. I'll spare the 'cant close' bull shaz.

Yes sooner or later we gotta start winning these etc etc. And all that.

The big thing to me is why would anyone choose Michigan over Tennessee? I think the 'optics' are changing as Tennessee being a National brand, a place where big time elite offensive players can put up silly numbers.

Landing TK will be massive.
Kids do not look at the world in orange colored glasses. I would bet that his agent probably has far more input than some think on here. The kid was fair and gave us a shot but he may have thought Michigan had bigger marbles.

Sanders we didn’t send anyone to either
