Across the offensive line, five-star Maxwell Hiller and highly sought-after four-star Junior Saunders are set to be in town this weekend. Alabama has picked up momentum with Hiller of late, so Tennessee will look to show well here during the visit.

For Saunders, the Vols were one of his early offers, when they offered during camp a couple of years back, and Tennessee has been a school he has paid attention to since. The Vols will look to make the most of getting him back on campus as well. A number of schools are involved with the standout offensive tackle early on.

Isn’t the OL being touted as one of the best in the conference and pretty high up there in the country?
One of the better ones in the country for sure.

I wouldn’t put that on Coach E. Good developer but NiL has put a lot into this OL.

We should have one of the best for the $$$ in it.

This X1000

I’m not a big GE guy either.

Kingvfl said that Nil is a huge crutch to this position in recruiting. That being said, getting guys like Perry and Ory and Moe (along with David) to the NFL would definitely help to start shifting the narrative.

I think we just have to accept at this point GE is a package deal with Heupel.

Not known as an enthusiastic recruiter but the kids love him once they get here.

I see no reason why they are, they got man handled latter half of the season, to the point that Bishop had to line up in the fb/hb spot to help block. I think Sanders will be good, Moe decent, but pendleton/umarov are bad-especially pass pro. Perry is decent as well-but better at tackle imo. Williams is a wildcard, but looked rather slow in the o&w game so im not overly optimistic (think heard in 24)

Heard in ‘24 was injured.

Guess we’ll see how it plays out.

In fairness, Ive been anti elarbee since 23
I jumped off this boat when he started recruiting better. Getting blown off the ball the last half off the season probably has more to do with why we replaced the strength and conditioning staff. I jumped of the Pope sucks boat to with last years class.

See, he really hasnt been recruiting better, Sanders was all heup and nil. And we still haven’t really seen the development improve yet, like elarbee defenders are still hanging their hat on darnell wright-who was a 5 star who started 4 seasons (including 2 seasons before heup even got here)

I think NIL is the sole driver for every top recruit now. We definitely were suspect with spending money the first two and a half years. The line looked good the first part of last year. Lets see if the strength and conditioning makes a difference. My only complaint right now has been RB recruiting, but at least we start guys that pass block now, and a DGG commitment will completely shut me up on that.
