Anybody else interested in this matchup? I really want to see if Mr.Wilcox can improve his defense against the power of the SEC. I mean, if you constantly stack the box to stop the run, the QB can have a field day. See Alabama game last year. IDK, maybe we didn't have the size and strength in our front 7 last year. Maybe we did. Maybe an emphasis on the weight room and run stopping technique cost us. I'm interested to see how well UW's defense plays. By the way, I'm very happy we have Sal

so if we had not stacked the box we would of won? our only shot last year was to stop the running game. I'm also happy we have Sal, a big upgrade IMO.

Wilcox was a boob of a DC. Thanks to Sunseri for making me realize that as a definite.

LSU should win handily. And this should probably be in the Around the NCAA forum

I don't think it will be much of a game. UW will win big.

Just kidding. LSU by 14+

The hat still has a bad habit of playing down to the level of the competition. They've had more than their fair share of struggles with pac teams, but always win

From the looks of it, Sal would squeeze Wilcox' head like a grape. Sal has that tough look about him, Wilcox doesn't come across as the tough type imo.

UW WRs challenging LSU's secondary is the matchup to watch as LSU is playing 4 new faces back there at times. I would expect UW to be able to put up points if LSU's DL does not put quick pressure on the QB. LSU is playing quite a few freshman at the LB positions as well, so the DL has to be very good.

Offense, the problem last week was the OL in pass protection and I hear LT Chris Faulk will miss the game due to an injury, good thing a 6-year SR. is backing him up but that will be another issue to watch.

First real game of the year, we'll see how it turns out.

Washington barely had 300 yards of offense against S.D. State. They have no shot on Saturday.

I like LSU, not sure why all the Wilcox hate. At one point in time, like when DD hired him, he was a great up and comer. Now after 2 seasons of calling play with mediocre talent he is a boob???

I really like the Sarkisan offense so they should at least be fun to watch at times

The defense gave up 10 points. Their only touchdown came after a clear fumble, which was recovered by Tennessee. I had my issues with some of what he ran here, but the Ky loss is on the offense.

I am starting to get very worried about LSU, maybe not this game but in general. LT Chris Faulk likely out for an extended period of time and possibly the season. The amount of players LSU has lost to transferring, suspension and injury is starting to get fairly large.

UW struggling both "O" & "D". Lots of youth at Reciever, O-Line, and D-Line. QB Price hasn't impressed me...Tiger "D" will dominate. Long day for Husky "D" and lots of 3-and-outs for their "O".

Lates line---LSU 23.5 pt favorites. Ouch!
