UVA Rape Hoax

They throw out stats like 1 in 4 women on campus are raped when that stat is completely false.

When you consider how over-the-top "consensual sex" guidelines are... yeah. I'm sure 25% of women are raped because they didn't specify "yes, I want to do this" every time a different type, position, etc was introduced.

And consenting once doesn't mean every time. Each encounter must be re-consented. Each kiss, touch, look, etc must be consented.

And even consent given for each stage is thrown out if the girl has been drinking because they can't give consent after drinking.

A male can. A girl can't.

TBH, the "consent guidelines" are actually pretty sexist against women. It implies they're vulnerable flowers that need to be coddled by men and reassured at every stage. They're also being told they're unable to control themselves after a drink or 2 which is also demeaning them.

But what do I know. I'm a straight white male veteran and I'm the scum of the Earth to those types.

I did break it to my wife that I've likely raped her hundreds of times in our marriage. We were happy before, and now she's considering divorce after being told by some hard-line leftists that she, in fact, didn't consent.

the worst part is how defenders are saying the facts don't matter because the issue is important.

The "cause" is more important than the facts. You see it with the TM case, Ferguson, CIA interrogation, Benghazi, etc., etc. What is amazing is the complete lack of journalism by the writer and editors; no fact checking, no intense corroborating of the allegations, didn't attempt to talk to the accused, etc. Their lack of professionalism and investigative vigor is breathtaking.

Facts should always establish the "cause" rather than the "cause" twisting, ignoring, fabricating, or omitting the facts.

Did the "victim" file a police report? If not IMHO all blame and liability lies with the author and the editor for not fact checking.

Both. I am not opposed jail time for the "victim". Both need to suffer some major consequences.

If she had only just accused Cosby then everyone would have believed her without checking the facts.

Civil I agree. But if no false report was filed with the police what laws were broken that could result in jail?

Even if she didn't file a report, you'd best bet the university did a pretty big investigation of their own. Something like this allegation demands it.

Someone spent a lot of money and time tracking down whether she was telling the truth or not.

Wasn't the university's callous approach part of the narrative?

That is a fair point. I want to see her ruined for faking something so serious but if no laws were broken I guess best that can be done is ruin her finances for years and her reputation for life.

Would you believe a word that came out of that "reporter's" mouth concerning anything in this case?

Or the "victim?"

That's what I'm saying. From what I read the first the University heard of the Incident was through the article too and they suspended Greek life and most shut down the fraternity in question but then when it started coming out as false, the University president didn't exactly apologize for a knee Jerk reaction.

You're married, we know you don't have access to those except on certain days and with written and verbal permission from Mrs. McDad.

That's about what one needs with these new yes means yes laws.

Just because my junk is locked in a trunk doesn't obfuscate me and my role in perpetuating the patriarchy.
