Also, you care enough to solicit other people's feelings...so you can't claim that you don't care. Bad job / bad posting on your part.

No, I just wanted to hear an opinion. I could care less one way or another. I like to hear peoples opinions, that does not mean I am going to judge someone for their opinion.

The reaction to this, once again, shows the blatant hypocrisy by both sides. Back in 2011, when Tim Thomas decided not to visit the White House, he was savaged by the left. Some even went as far as to call him a racist simply because he refused to meet Obama. Back then, people on the right applauded his stance. Fast forward eight years, change the party of the individual who occupies the White House, and you get completely opposite reactions by both sides.

I'm pro- people not going to the White House if they think the President sucks.

Edit: if you get upset by some other human being's choice not to like or visit the President, maybe a democratic society isn't for you.

If a President gets upset by it, maybe they should try to remember that they are a public servant holding office in a democratic society. Maybe they should realize that dissent comes with the job.

Baylor basketball is first women's team to accept Trump White House invitation

The Baylor women's basketball team has accepted an invitation to visit the White House next week, making them the first women's team to have a championship celebration by President Donald Trump.

The team, who won 2019 NCAA Division I Championship, will meet with Trump on Monday. He had previously congratulated the team on their win.

USA Today reported that Baylor coach Kim Mulkey previously said the team wouldn't view the invitation as "a political issue."

"I’ve been every time for every president," Mulkey told The Associated Press. "It’s an honor to go to the White House. I want everyone to say they went to the White House. Not many people can say that."
