How many losses will Vol's have at end of December? I don't see more than 2. Memphis is a big game!

5 tough games maybe 6.

I’m hoping for 1 or 2
Two or even 3 would be nice and probably better than most thought preseason.

4 or more I’ll be disappointed

Tough schedule, I would expect 2-3. Need to develop some depth or this team will be worn down come Feb and March

I think there is something sneaky special about this team...@Cincinnati will be very tough. 2 or 3 losses in the non conference. GBO

Expect 5-8 losses. Non conference schedule remaining is still tough and SEC is no longer UK & everyone else.

This team has something that is special in college basketball and that is elite guard play!
Looking like a team with great chemistry. Looking fwd to this season! Love to see the Uros kid get approval. 😎

Florida State, Memphis, Wisconsin and Cincinnati are all tough games. Looks like we're favored against Wisconsin and Memphis according to KenPom, while Florida State (+1) and Cincinnati (+3) are slightly favored against us.

With FSU, Memphis and Wisconsin being at home, I have to think we win at least two of those games. The Wiseman situation will obviously have a big impact too - they're just not as much of a threat without him.

Wouldn't be at all surprised with just one loss by the end of 2019.

FSU is not at home. Game is in Niceville, FL as part of the Emerald Coast Classic.

UT may lose agaisnt FSU, but they really dont look any better than Washington to be honest. Memphis without Wiseman(for now) at home favors UT. Kansas at Kansas is more than likely a loss because its Allen Fieldhouse, but I dont see UT all year losing more than 3 non conference games. 11 and 3 would be my guess if not 12 and 2, barring injuries. 10 and 8 or 11 and 7 in conference. 20 wins minimum and 24 max before the SEC tourney.

I won't dispute how many games this article says that the Vols will win. I don't know that. But this idiot states that Chattanooga will be an 11 win team this year. They're already 3-1 with a win over South Alabama last Friday. #22 Auburn beat South Alabama by 1 at the buzzer last week. Chattanooga beat the crap out of South Alabama on Friday. I'm not saying that the Mocs will beat the Vols, but don't underestimate the Mocs to give the Vols a good game, especially if they play like they did on Friday (which they may or may not). The Mocs have a bunch of good players, including a Vandy transfer that lit up the board on Friday. I'm looking forward to the game next Monday night. I'll be there!

It’s all generated by a computer formula. He doesn’t necessarily predict those wins himself. He just puts it in his formula, and it comes out. He also well respected, and the NCAA may use his analytics as part of the selection process (someone else may know). But I know the committee is now being given more analytic tools.
