"Tarango helped lead the Lady Vols to three WCWS appearances during her career in Knoxville from 2011-15. Tennessee finished as national runner-ups to Oklahoma in 2013 where she finished the season 6-1 with a 1.44 ERA while batting .286 with 10 homers and 51 RBI. The team finished with a combined 197-55 (.782) record over the course of her career.
"I'm excited to be a part of the staff and start working with the girls. The state of Tennessee will always have a special place in my heart so I'm super happy to move back," said Tarango. "
