Utah vs UCLA

I’m not disagreeing with that. I’m saying I hope he makes better choices in the future.
You’re correct, he made a bad decision ethically trying to get more money from us. JH made a good decision not giving in. Nico forgot, this is UT. We are bigger than one person. We had talent behind him.m and probably better “football“ players.

Well, looks like this is turning out pretty much how anyone paying attention, with an ounce of background on the situation, knew it would. We all saw what Nico is and isn’t, his dad overplayed his hand, got an answer he wasn’t counting on and had to attempt to save face by serving him up to UCLA. And the press tried its best to buy the false narrative that it was so he could be closer to family. Way to play those cards, Pops.

The supporting cast makes all the difference in the world. Having the league’s leading rusher and one of the nation’s top defenses helped pad Nico’s stats last season. Don’t get me wrong - I think he’s a very solid college QB and had good numbers for us last season. But he’s on a much weaker team this year and we’ll have to see what it looks like for him after they get into league play. He gets a return trip to OSU and their D looked to be at least as strong as they were last year.

I once worked at the same company as my brother, who had been there for years. I didn’t work with him, but absolutely hated the job and “ you are so lucky to be here” attitude from management.” It caused a ton of strain on our relationship because I hated the place from day one and he knew it. I gave it one year almost to the day just so I could say to him I gave it a fair shot. A complete waste of a year of my life. I can’t imagine what last night and today are like between Nico and his Dad.

Wonder what college football coach’s phone is ringing this morning with a call from “Big Nick”? “Coach, I can give you Nico for $2M next year! Whadda ya say?”
