Really? That’s what you took from that??Hmmm that’s strange. It seems this guy is very happy and proud that he is now a 5* and recognized as one of the best players at his position. But according to some on here, recruiting stars don’t matter. lol. I have always thought that recruiting rankings could matter to individual recruits. And what do you know?

So I should be worried about recruiting rankings because they make recruits feel good about themselves?Hmmm that’s strange. Moa plays both sides of ball. He's got size, and wiggle, and mentality. So I should be worried about recruiting rankings because they make recruits feel good about themselves?
Look at his offer list and his tape and you can see he is good. 99% of 5 stars have that in common. That doesnt mean there aren't 4 stars or 3 stars that are with a bunch of offers that are heavily recruited with great tape.
This is one of the more bizarre posts I’ve ever seen on this site. And that’s saying something.Hmmm that’s strange. Nobody said anything about scientific. But those who say recruiting rankings don’t matter, meaning star rankings don’t matter are just simply ignoring the obvious. They absolutely matter. If they didn’t then the teams that win at the highest rate year, after year, after year, after year wouldn’t be winning as much. This is one of the more bizarre posts I’ve ever seen on this site. This recruit feels good about getting a 5th star, ergo, recruiting rankings are scientific and should be taken as such.
Okie dokie.
Nah. Haven’t you heard? Star rankings don’t matter. The fact that teams like Bama, OSU, UGA are loaded with them has nothing to do with their massive success. I mean obviously the recruiting service are always wrong and teams full of two and three star players are the best teams in college football. We do need Moa five stars.
How many times are you gonna regurgitate that tired old song? Up to 83 or so this past year.Nah. Haven’t you heard? Star rankings don’t matter. So apparently Georgia and Ohio State would suddenly no longer be high-level programs if the recruiting agencies no longer existed. Then, there wouldn't be anybody to tell the gullible star worshippers that their recruits are 5-star guys.Nobody said anything about scientific. Ill admit. Im a startgazer, but I love this class this year. I do think stars are meant more for skill positions. And as I rattle off nine times a day, SH and TK are two of the best in a long time. How many times are you gonna regurgitate that tired old song? Up to 83 or so this past year.
EVERYBODY likes stars, but dissing 3 stars when 100 of them pass about 200 4 stars in the draft each class, living and dying by the blue chip ratio Is just nuts. Late bloomers screw that up, and BIGTIME staffs can mine them as well as sign 4 stars that don’t make it. All part of the game.
I am GOOD with every kid high on our war room wall regardless of stars. I am ok with late contingency takes, but I SPECULATE those will be fewer in the wide open portal era. You can mine those that came out of nowhere, and circle back on early targets with some synergy.Ill admit. Im a startgazer, but I love this class this year. Moa would be a huge get also
Need a DE and OG for this class along wi ty others. Ideally itd be Gray, but the Maryville legacy Lee Smith's boy will hunt. Still think we get Harris.
Whether that is or isn’t true, it has nothing to do with a kid being excited about his star rating. It’s a complete non-sequitur that you framed as some sort of proof of the validity of your position. It’s not.Nobody said anything about scientific.
