'26 UT WR Salesi Moa

That's my bad. I thought I was in the Joel Wyatt thread. I need to slow down.
I’m referring to Wyatt. He’s been offered to play both ways by multiple schools.

Vandy and most recently Oklahoma have offered him that opportunity.

I’d say others trying to get involved are as well (Louisville, Miss St., North Carolina)

No chance Wyatt plays offense in college. He is either S or EDGE depending on how he develops physically. He is not a D1 WR.
Very few prospects enter their senior season of HS as D1 WRs. Wyatt’s only problem is he’s not a natural pass catcher, but neither was Julio Jones or Quinten Johnson from TCU a few years back. Also judging by our WRs the last 2 years a receiver not being able to catch the ball hasn’t stopped our staff from taking a gamble in the past. Every other aspect from size, athleticism, and even his route running screams he’s a D1 WR and is MILES ahead of any other prospect we’ve landed at WR in those categories outside of maybe Mike Matthews. With the 105 scholarship limit we’d be crazy to not give him through spring camp to see if he can improve his hands or not. Worst case scenario it doesn’t work and we’re either replacing him in the portal at the end of the 26 season or moving him to defense

lol the #3 National rated player with these stats wasn’t a natural pass catcher? Ok

That’s correct, even going into the NFL there were some questions about his hands. Athletes of his caliber have no problems making catches in HS unless they’re matched up against future FBS DBs consistently. They’re able to create enough separation at that level to where a bobbled pass is catchable. It’s only in the SEC or NFL where bobbling it or catching with your body results in the DB knocking the ball loose

Update: what the hell do I know though? I’ve only had multiple accounts deleted on here for “trolling” about prospects I ended up being correct about

Yeah, what the hell do you know? Picked #6 in the draft after producing these stats in the SEC. Are you trying to be ignorant or what?

Feels like the longer this goes the more it favors us.

May not be a popular opinion but I’d take Moa over Wyatt. He’s a more polished prospect imo.
Moa is a football player, Wyatt is a phenomenal athlete with no position. I want Wyatt to be apart of this class, but if he isn't im not going to think twice about it

Others on this board have been correct about prospects without getting banned. I’m thinking the “getting banned” part and “being right about prospects” part aren’t related.

Announcing his commitment July 31st.

Finalists are Tennessee, Utah, Michigan, Michigan State and Washington.

The race to secure a pledge from four-star prospect Salesi Moa has come down to two teams, according to Rivals' Adam Gorney. While Utah has been the projected frontrunner for some time now, Gorney reports that Tennessee is "the school giving him the most to consider."

The Utes believe they'll still wind up with Moa, per Gorney, though some around the program are "surprised" that it's taken him this long to commit.

I can understand being an 18 year old and wanting to stay close to home, but with the way Utah looked last year combined with them now playing in a glorified group of 5 conference I just don’t see how someone could pick them over really any SEC team in the top half of the conference (us, Georgia, Texas, Bama, LSU, Florida, Oklahoma, Auburn, and even A&M and Ole Miss) are much better spots than Utah is now that they’re out of the Pac 12

They literally might win the Big12 this year
