'26 UT WR Salesi Moa (Utah)

Have to think, even with parents telling coaches what they want to hear. A commit who had Meatchicken hat on table, going back for their biggest game of season, cannot be good.

Would not be good if we lost this player, he is that damn good.

And the big difference was his camp didn't let us know. Moa's dad communicated with the staff what is going on. Hopefully OSU blows them off the field and we do the same to Vandy.
I’m more afraid Hartline sees him and tries to pluck him than I am him thinking Michigan has a good offense for a receiver. Lol

I think the logic is there, to do exactly what you're saying. Esp when Pruitt's SC is being lifted and he's back in coaching.

When you compare TN to Meatchicken. The punishments dont fit.
Vol Twitter needs to get DW to take up this cause. I am not a tweeter. I only see tweets on VN or in news articles I read. But if Vol Twitter is as powerful as some believe, we need a Twitter campaign to end our probation. If Pruitt has been punished enough, so have we. FFS, HE was the one that was cheating. He and his staff. He did it while employed here, but why should we keep having to pay if he is not? Those of you who do tweet need to start a tweet chain about this. Get DW, and the chancellor, and Boyd involved. End the nonsense. I mean, we self-reported and fully cooperated on something that is pretty much legal now. Enough is enough.

The timing is horrible. Signing day is a week from today. December 3rd-5th.

Still? 5 years later? I'd bring in whoever and tell the NCAA to kick rocks. No one is here from that era. That punishment is unreasonably punitive.
Yup. The longer you look into it, the more it makes sense why the staff struggled with recruiting early on. Less official visits, less unofficial visits, less scholarships, a month less of evaluation time per year, a total of seven months over probation where our coaches literally can't even call or text recruits including a week in December and a week in January (the most important months as signing day is in January).

I have been beating this drum for years because a lot of Tennessee fans still don't get it. This was the closest punishment to a death penalty we've been. I genuinely would have preferred two years of a post season ban. The punishments are at the bottom of this article

Pretty cringe take.

Given our issues with Boo should we avoid African American recruits?

Jeez.
What are you talking about? I know you’re being sarcastic but why?

Maybe I misinterpret OP’s post but I think he’s referring to a TN commit visiting Michigan . We lost a recruit to Ohio st a week or two ago- similar situation.

This is very different. As I understand things he and his parents are happy with UT and committed, and he’s gonna take a last second to Michigan (they are prolly paying him 10k just to go). If I were him, I’d sure take that trip- prolly gonna be a lot of big time fun- Gameday in town and etc. It’s also gonna be cold. :)

Good to know. My comment wasn’t that I thought he’d flip to MI. Rather, asking why did OP say to cause the response?

I think this is about leverage for Moa. Similar situation that happened with Sanders. Agent probably wanted this. Moa gets paid to visit too. Not saying it's nothing, but it's not concerning me yet. It's not the school I would ideally want to be competing with.

His brother goes to Mich St. He’s gonna be in Michigan. Maybe go to both games. Michigan plays @ 12 and Michigan St plays @ 7.
