'26 UT WR Salesi Moa (Tennessee commit)

I'm calling my shot. This kid wants to play big boy ball in the SEC and picks the Vols.

Still talking to our staff the day of the commitment and complete silence on the Utah boards.

He would be dumb NOT to IMO unless he just wants to do the easy thing and be BMOC at Utah. There could be a lot of pressure from his Dad to follow in his footsteps too but thats bad parenting IMO

Why not come to UT, try to excel against the best athletes in the college game...if things don't work out for whatever reason he could always transfer back home to Utah and be the hero, the "prodigal son" returning home. Seems like a no brainer to me. We are definitely the underdogs in this one according to AP ...but the fact that we have even hung around to make it a 2 team race is promising.

I am with you man...i say hes a VOL!!! Lets GO! GBO

Most parents aren’t going to steer their kids to a certain school. Of course they will steer their kids away from certain situations, like there’s zero way in hell I would let my kid play for Freeze at Auburn. Heupel is a pretty well thought of guy nationally by just about everyone.

from Utah board:

I’m still confident it’s Utah, unless there’s a last minute change that I have yet to hear about. Utah has felt cautiously confident for around a month now, and as of the start of the week, I know that Moa’s agent hasn’t asked for more money from where things left off. I take that as a really good sign.

Listened to an interview with former NFL TE Greg Olsen the other day and he basically said the same. Said obviously he would love for his kids to go to Miami but that he would never force them to go there. Said parents need to let kids make that decision themselves and go where they feel is best for them. He said something like “I love Miami. I loved playing at Miami and going to school there. But just because Miami was right the right fit for me doesn’t mean it’ll be the right fit for my kids.”

Parents need to let their kids choose their own path.

Hope this kid ends up a Vol
