'26 UT WR Salesi Moa (Tennessee commit)

Now if we can land Hiter and Keys, this will be one of the better offensive recruiting classes we've had under CJH along with what we landed last year. Definitely becoming a roster built for CFP runs.
It would be far and away the best offensive recruiting class we've seen since the early 2000s. Nothing in the last 20 years would touch that class, and the negavols would fall apart

I knew it.

Kids want to see different places and Tennessee is a nice place to go to college for a kid form Utah.

Very underrated state in HS football.
Or you know, the staff absolutely killed this recruiting job like they have been with a lot of high profile guys. You can give credit to the coaches sometimes. We'll believe you

Coach Pope Resume

Mike Matthews (5 star)
Braylon Stanley (Top 100 player)
Travis Smith (Top 100 player some sites)
Radarius Jackson (Top 100 player some sites)
Joakim Dodson ( 4 star)
Tyreek King ( Top 50 player)
Legend Bey (Top 250 ATH)
Selesi Moa ( 5 star ATH)

But he’s not a good recruiter?! Until today???

Got Thornton drafted into the NFL.

He’s BEEN A GOOD RECRUITER.
Literally his whole time on Tennessees coaching staff hes been one of the best!

But because Ohio State signs two 5 STARS at WR every year, Pope sucks…

Can you elaborate? I missed what you said about the lesson learned & missed drama.
Yup. Heard the coaches were not happy with some misses in recruiting that they were sure they had and some players leaving who said they weren’t. And they have made an emphasis to close better and lock up talent. Plus, deal with deflections better and I have to say they seem to be doing that.

He’s been on the list.
He’s the reason for our young talented WR core that we will have this season.

But you can’t tell idiots anything.

Only one school in the entire country is out recruiting Tennessee at WR, and somehow that makes Pope a bum...

Not sure I'd go that far. Pope has definitely improved our WR Recruiting the last few years, but based off Recruiting Numbers Ohio St,LSU, Alabama, USC, Clemson and Fla St currently have the best WR rooms. We are slowly but surely getting back to pushing for WRU, but we aren't there yet. I've been really critical of Pope, but he's really improved our WR Recruiting. Now, if he can maintain it and start developing these guys, we're gonna start pushing Ohio St,LSU and Alabama for WRU again!
Ohio St is always going to out recruit everyone at the WR position with Brian Hartline. Dude is an absolute beast. LSU and Alabama have both been up there the last decade+ too.

Indeed! That would a fun group to watch and help reestablish our offensive group going forward. If Faizon develops like we all hope, this offense is going to be lethal, fun to watch and hard to stop. Throw in a good to great defense, we could start stacking trophies and high draft picks!!

THIS is the reason the recruiting services have absolutely zero credibility. I do not understand why people subscribe?
Only thing is, this wasn't true. Dude didn't watch us drop because we never did. We've always been a 4* on 247 and ON3 and have slowly risen the last 4-6 months and not dropped. We've always been a 5* on 247 Composite. Not sure if he's just mixing up sites or players, but he never sat and watched us dropped.
