UT would be lucky to have the Dooleys

I feel badly for Coach Dooley. He has been put in a tough spot. Guys, we may not support the decision, but we need to support the man unless he gives us a reason to do otherwise. After all, what choice do we have at this point. And besides, he may consider this his "dream job". I know that doesn't automatically mean we'll win ball games, but isn't it worth something that he obviously wants to be here? Apparently a lot of coaches don't.

I agree,I hope he surprises everybody and does a great job at UT for years to come

That will be 4 more fans than commits. May as well kiss all of the non EE's goodbye. If they wanted to play for Dooley they would have gone to Lousiana Tech.

Tyler Bray got screwed over so bad in this whole deal. Will probably transfer after his freshman year and go back to Cali. Pry wishes he would have gone to San Diego State. At least Brady Hoke got that one QB to the NFL. Nate Davis or whatever his name was.

Yeah, but he will probably bring a bunch of the La Tech commits with him!:eek:lol::eek:lol:

Wondering if he'd be interested in a nice house. Last guy that owned it moved to california and only lived in it 12 months give or take.

I trust now that it has become official that all of VolNation is seeing the truth behind the title of this thread. Best of luck in the upcoming years. Please do us all a favor and beat the tar out of LSU.

I am excited to have a man of Mr. Dooley's character at UT.

I am not excited to have a sub-par coach from the WAC leading us into disaster in the SEC.

My pleasure...though I must honestly say that I wish I had better news to report for our Vols!

There is a good article at al.com "Brave Derek Dooley"
It talks about how the other coaches turned down a chance to play in the best conference in college football.

Apologize if I offended you. It is just that I do not think we made a strong enough hire. No I do not know who that could have been. I hope for the best but are not overly optimistic. Will try not to be as negative as have been but will exercise my right to speak out pro or con when necessary. I still love UT and only want the best.

I dont see him leaving for georgia, The spectere of his father is there, and he'd be in competetion with the ghost. I dont see him as wanting to be his daddy's boy. I see him as wanting to prove himself.
