With the discussions on whether a 3 loss SEC team can get into the playoffs this year, it would be interesting to see what they would do with Bama if they lose that game. Also, if they were to make the SECCG and lose. My guess is the committee would find away to justify putting them in, especially if the third loss was in the CG.Michigan and auburn could do the greatest things next Saturday .Especially auburn. Never really rooted for or against. Hoping the Jordan-Hare voodoo is real. We can both be miserable together.
You are undoubtedly correct but if they lost auburn and a&m. They would have to be out. God forbid that from happening. Some of the smoke from the gumps burning the place would make to west tenn and no one wants that. With the discussions on whether a 3 loss SEC team can get into the playoffs this year, it would be interesting to see what they would do with Bama if they lose that game. College GameDay will be in Ann Arbor, Michigan for the Michigan vs Ohio State game . Book itProbably going to be ABC looking at the other games in that time slot.
Would not be surprised if Gameday isn't here if we both win this weekend...all transparency, I haven't looked to see who else is playing that weekend yet.
Or at least SEC Gameday...
This is as petty as petty gets. ABC/ESPN dictate their broadcast schedules based on the games that particular Saturday, and there are only three prime time slots. The UT-Vandy rivalry game doesn’t even rank in the top five within the conference. Nobody outside of the state cares about that game.no I meant that Florida gets a night game at home against us but we don't get a night game at home against candy.
really? there are no other SEC games that feature 2 top 25 teams. just our game. so you mean that we can't be on either ESPN or ABC at night? This is as petty as petty gets. There is one night game. Tell me how many more viewers UT-Vandy would get at 7:30 compared to the 2nd most popular rivalry in college football (Iron Bowl). I’ll hang up and listen.really? there are no other SEC games that feature 2 top 25 teams. just our game. so you mean that we can't be on either ESPN or ABC at night?
who are we competing with besides the iron bowl? Florida and Florida St? Two teams with losing records?
Starting QB for top ten team who suited up and on the field at Neyland has a very different view than yours:Maybe neyland can actually be loud for once this season? Doubt it though
Neyland is not as loud as it used to be in years past. Ticket prices go up, the noise goes down. I had to jump up and down in my section just to get people to stand up and yell. Everyone was on their phones. It was disheartening to say the least.Starting QB for top ten team who suited up and on the field at Neyland has a very different view than yours:
OU's John Mateer says Neyland Stadium is the loudest place he's played, and his teammates confirmed that Bryant-Denny Stadium doesn't top it
"Sean, you mentioned Sooners quarterback John Mateer told us the game at Tennessee was the loudest atmosphere he's ever played in," Rowe said. "After their last drive, he came off the field, went straight up to his offensive line and asked them 'is down here by the student section worse than Tennessee?' and they shook their heads and said no."
He said at the start of the game last week at Tennessee, he was screaming in the huddle, and he told his teammates, 'I'm not freaking out. It's just so loud I have to yell this loud'", McDonough added.
