UT vs. Vandy Game thread

Coker has some thunder too. Hardesty just needs to quit dancing. That is his problem. It definitely won't hurt that we will have run blockers and more experience next year.

Yes, his dancing needs to stop, and I can safely assume with more coaching and experience, he will stop, or do it far less.

Don't you agree, though, that Hardesty has a bright future, even though we all love coker?

I'm not saying we won't need 2 or 3 backs, I just don't want them to be Foster and Hardesty. Foster is OK, but need dynamic TBs in this offense.

Well, that was a mistake. I guess Vandy made the right choice by taking the penalty and forcing us to go for it. Ainge should have gotten rid of it.

Present fumble excluded, we look SO, SO much better with Ainge. Amazing how much different things look.

Well, I wish all of you a good day. I am off to watch the OSU-Michigan game .. my wife has be decked out in OSU gear. Good luck to the Vols and here's to an injury-free 4th!

Hardesty has a bright future, I agree.

Liper, how can you say that you don't want Foster(a sophomore) or Hardesty(a FRESHMAN) to be part of our future RB corps? They are too young to be making those statements.

I'll give Hardesty a pass because of the surgeries and he is a FR. Foster is a serviceable back that's no better than avg by SEC standards.

I mean Kenny Irons didn't even look all world during his freshman and sophomore years. Foster had a way better freshman year than most RBs. Darren McFadden's don't come along every year.

That's my point though. IMO, Hardesty very well could turn into a dynamic runner. He's only a freshman and has shown some bursts of dynamic-ness.
