Kentucky just beat the Vols:eek:hmy:. Kentucky has (among other losses read: Gardner-Webb:birgits_giggle:) lost to UAB and Houston this year. And everyone wants to say that Memphis plays the weaker conference. :no:

What I can't understand is why Pearl didn't have Ramar just drive to the basket every play down with under three to play. They had three guys with four fouls. One of them was Patterson.

I am just glad we got this loss out of our system now. CBP will go back and make the right changes! Not to worry! I know Im not! Its a bummer but we will bounce back! I know it.

I bet the Cats boards will be lively. They're probably already talking how based on this win they'll make it to the Final 4.

Ok, so the game is not over yet. We have a chance. A SLIM chance.
Either way this game turns out, I am PROUD of Tennessee!
We are playing at a level that has not been seen at Tennessee in many many years, if ever.
A couple of thoughts....
Lofton had a great first half. The 2nd half is a different story. In my humble opinion, as much as I want to see Lofton come out of the slump, I'd much rather see the damned grit and determination, and yes, cockiness come from the entire team rather than one player. We seemed out of our game tonight for some reason.
Regardless, even is we lose. We are at 16-2 with quality wins over big name programs, and the season is far from being over.
Congrats to the team whether we win or lose. Lexington is considered a "Hallowed Ground" in NCAA basketball. Kentucky has lost to terrible teams, and won against a few good teams. They are finding their game. We have ours. We just need to continue executing the remainder of the season. Go Vols!!

Can't say I'm really surprised. UK has played much better lately. Last 3 teams they've played are good teams.

Vols need to learn to play a half court game. They'll see alot of that in the NCAA tournament.

"Gotten through" isn't "cruised".

The lack of discipline I've seen this season is incredibly more apparent than it has been in the past two years. Say what you want, but I'll repeat, if Gardner Webb can beat UK, then they can beat us on a the right night.

We are undisciplined and an incredibly sissified team, I hope I'm wrong, but I'm worried.
