UT vs UGA game time (merged)

Shouldn't that have been released today? I see three time slots open for nooners and one for the 3:30 on CBS. You'd have to think the 3:30 would go to Bama-Ole Miss. Noon kickoffs are absolute garbage.

I got a text from the News Sentinel today that said the network is using its six day option and won't set the GA game time until next Monday.

Men’s athletic director Mike Hamilton posted this Tweet on his Twitter account this morning:

“... game time will not be known until next Monday. Will be noonish or 3:30.”

UT, Georgia, Alabama and Ole Miss all play this weekend and I think the 3:30 game will depend on how UT/Georgia do and Bama/Ole Miss.

Personally, I think for UT to have any chance of being CBS game, they must win as well as Georgia and Bama or Ole Miss must lose.

Bama-Ole Miss was slated to be the 3:30 game, CBS wasn't going to pass up a top-5 matchup, but OM laying an egg last Thursday led CBS to use its option. I'm told that if we beat Auburn, we likely get 330, but it also depends on what else happens around the SEC this week.

There isn't an SEC ESPN 745 game because of the 8pm CBS game. CBS has exclusivity when they show SEC games.

I would have loved that as well. The little article I read said that if UT doesnt get the 3:30 CBS game then they are looking at a noonish kickoff. Maybe on ESPNU.

Noon games used to be whoever was playing Vandy, Kentucky, Ole Miss ore Miss State. I cant believe a Tennessee- Georgia would be at noon. I guess its a sign of the times. I freakin hate noon games.

UT vs. UGA will not be on ESPNU, it will be on ESPN, CBS or atleast SECNetwork. I am fine with a noon game, last time we kicked off at 12:21, we dominated.....

noon games royally suck, but as the others have said, the ONLY way we get the 3:30 is if both UGA and us win. I still say Bama and Ole Miss will take it.
