Just recieved word from the mothership. Now ESPN3 live streaming has also been blacked out in all of the SEC conference states. If you are in other states you can stream and also order PPV GamePlan, but both ESPN3 Streaming and Gameplan PPV are blacked out in SEC states.
HOWEVER IT WILL BE BROADCAST ON FSN FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THAT NETWORK FROM THEIR PROVIDER.
That is all.

Never thought I would say this...glad i don't live in Tennessee.

Oh who am I kidding...I would gladly pony up the bucks to either go to the game, pay for the PPV, or get the channel on the satellite for a chance to live in the best state in the land.

I saw some of the UMass/Vandy game last Saturday so I'm sure we will see the TN game Saturday with no problems...but if things don't work out then please have a backup plan.

Hey I know some of you think the mothership hates Volnation. But i promise the broadcast rules and broadcasting rights are set by the SEC and by FCC rules for DMA rights. Major League Baseball causes the same kind of confusion when it comes to programming rights.

It's the sports animal on iPhone, it has the shortest delay I can find in Memphis , 5sec at its best ,and 92.9 didn't have the last few games on , wtf?

I bought the ESPN gameplan package a few years ago. I thought if Tennessee was on at a different time I would watch various other SEC games.

Every SEC game was blacked out all season. Idaho Tech vs. Montana State was on but Georgia vs. LSU was not. Total crock of stuff. I wasted my money that year but never since.

I do buy the NFL Sunday Ticket. It's great. All the games are on.

Yep, the dfference is college is made up of more than 12 conference who all have different rules and sets of agreements. And ND has their own seperate deal with NBC. The only unified agreement they have is the BCS, Bowl Champioship Series. However the NFL negoitates as one enity with, CBS, FOX and ESPN. BTW Sunday Ticket cost Directv 16 Billion dollars for the rights.

I see these teams with insider tv shows on various networks , how come UT doesn't have one? You would think it could help out with recruiting and the fan base.
