I've been arguing with some vandy fans here lately, It's pathetic! I know!,It's because they seem to think that MTSU would beat UT this year and I just laugh at their ignorance and ask them, how? And of course they bring up MTSU's record and of course we all know that their schedule and talent doesn't even compare to ours and I just think it's a rediculous argument, and I always get pissed at vandy fans because they always talk about other teams beating us because they know they can't, but I still argue with them because I always defend my team....Obviously I think that we would easily beat MTSU on any given day. What do ya'll think? GO VOLS!!!:rock:

I always tell Vandy fans it would be easier and much less painful if I just came over and kicked them in the jimmy before the season starts .

I don't argue with Vandy fans. I had a conversation with one once and he told me that he hated UT and the program as a whole. I asked him if Vandy getting their butt handed to them year after year after year had anything to do with that. It ended the conversation.

No. MTSU would not beat us this year. Or.........ever.

Edit: My bad. I wrote will not. Meant would not.

i wish we could play them so that the rumor that they should be ranked higher would be put to rest. However, people would look at that game and say "they are scheduling low ranked teams". i say, to hell with it, lets play.

MTSU is a great sunbelt team. How anyone would think that translates to a middle of the pack SEC team is beyond me.

I agree that MTSU is going to be in big trouble if they don't get their QB eligible. Stock is building a solid program though and they're certainly a very good Sun Belt team that can play/compete with some BCS schools at times.

I'm certainly looking forward to the UT/MTSU game next season as I'm a UT alum but getting my Masters at MTSU right now.

think its funny all you want, i live in Murfreesboro and have been watchin these guys and as long as dasher is on the field Middle would beat UT this year and maybe even the next few years. it brings me back to the question... Is Kiffin really gone? please say no.

put this Tennessee team in the sunbelt with MTSU's schedule and we would go undefeated...MTSU would win 4 to 5 games at best with out schedule in the SEC. Talent does not compare. No way in hell we would lose to MTSU. JMO

I don't think it's funny, I think it's retarded. You can watch them all you want to but they would never, ever, ever beat us. Not even in the same class with us when we are down like we are now. They don't recruit the same quality of athletes. They don't hire the same quality of coaches. They don't have the same quality of facilities. Basically, they are lesser quality in....... everything. I am not saying they suck, it's just relative. Relative to UT, they don't match up and if you want to know what would happen if we played them this year, go watch a replay of the UT-Memphis game from last season. Prolly a carbon copy.

I am a current MTSU student and have been to every single game in the past 2 years. We have a very talented team for the Sun Belt Conference and honestly if we keep it up I don't believe we should stay in the Sun Belt much longer... With that being said.... There is absolutely no way in hell that MTSU would beat UT. We could barely handle Miss. St. last season.

I say no, but any given Saturday you can be beaten. MTSU did recieve votes in the AP poll and TN didn't?

Crazy talk. If they beat us it would be an absolute fluke...with or without "supercoach" kiffin.
