I know there was a thread on the opening line Monday and everyone felt that it was a little inflated. It has moved from Ole Miss -3 to Ole Miss -4.5.
Sounds like all the early money is favoring the Rebels.

some people are just outside their minds. rivals bowl predictions this week has us in the chick-fil-a bowl, while ole miss is in the outback, suggesting they will beat us. they also have auburn in a better bowl than us (cotton).

If we can stop 1 player (McCluster) I don't think there is any way they can beat us. Barring multiple turnovers by us.
I would like to know what percentage of their offense McCluster accounts for.

any word on if Lincoln will be able to play?? I remember the announcers talking about his injury during the Memphis game and thought I remembered them saying he was just about healed and ready to come back soon.

That analysis (The BCSGuru) is just stupid after about the top 15 or 20. It just takes into account the number of top 25 votes received. It doesn't actually do any comparisons of teams not ranked.

However, if you look at the computer polls which rank all of the teams, we are coming out ahead of Ole Miss overall.

Ole Miss has 3564 yards total offense
McCluster accounts for 853 yards

He is 24% of their offense.

that -4.5 is a UT sucker bet. That's what scares me. I would think everyone and their mother would be on UT.

Jimmy The Greek said that the wrong bets come early and wait until gameday....We have been playing well, but I think Vegas is predicting our momentum to take it's usual(from year's past) break...Hope CLK has them motivated and ready for the sake of Big Orange Country!

I think UT will win this one. It might be close though. I'm more worried about playing KY and Vandy as both have shown they can hang with some great teams.

Vandy may be able to hang but they are having trouble scoring. I just can't see UT losing this one on Sr. day.

Ole Miss, favored over UT? Are these oddsmakers on drugs?? If so, it must be some good stuff. UT wins this by 10-20 easy!

If you believe all this, I hope you have money on the game instead of just talking about it. I mean if +4.5 is so huge, i hope you jumped on it to make a few bucks

Don't get overly giddy, despite what we and the rebs have done in the past few games this will be a tough, hard fought game that will be decided in the 4 th quarter. I hope our kickers are ready...
