It's not even a rivalry anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if CBS dropped the game from Tv for next year because Tenn. can't even compete with FLA. How does Fla's program get so far ahead of Tenn. with the biggest recruiting budget in the country??? Yeah, I've heard the excuses..that's ALL I hear in Chicago from the Vols, is EXCUSES.

There's no pride anymore. This team is so far behind they wull be lucky to go 5-6 this year. Is that acceptable to you guys down there? Or have u guys accepted that you are now an SEC bottom dwellar?

Even IF Tenn, was able to rebound and make it to the SEC champ. game, horrible, embarrassing losses to Fla. should be enuff to get Fulmer fired. And Chavous. Jeez.

EVERYTHING the Vols plan for should be to BEAT FLA. plain and simple. If they do that, they'll be fine. Heck, Fulmer can get within 23 points. This football program is a joke up here.

I now know how it feels to be Ntre Dame 10 yrs ago, the gut wrenching pain and disgrace of watching the team we were born to love no matter what, circle the drain. it really hurts. My great grandfather, grandfather, both played at Tn, this is like watching opur family home burn to the ground over and over again each week and year.

just got back and the highlight of my day....leaving in the first few mins of the 3rd qt. and beating all the traffic. it was pretty nice

It's a very simple equation. The university made a buttload of money today because the stadium (for the first half at least) was full. As long as they're making money, nothing will change, no matter how loud the outcry, how many callers call in to radio shows, etc. etc. ad nauseum.

Stay away. If the stadium is empty for the NIU game, they will lose a buttload of money, and Hamilton will sweat. If it's empty for Mississippi State, Fulmer will be replaced.

He's one of the highest-paid coaches in all of Div-1A, and there are literally dozens of coaches out there who could do a better job than this with this level of talent; there are probably at least twenty (Kelly, Grobe, Edsall, Erickson, Mendenhall, Whittingham, Leavitt, Davis, Skip Holst - imagine what the latter would do with our talent?) who within a year or two could do for this team what Saban has done with Bama. There's not a team in 1-A with this much talent that plays this consistently like a bunch of Keystone cops.

STAY AWAY. It's the only way change will happen.

What a sad day to live in Florida within one hour of Gainseville and be a Vol Fan! I am over this team- If it wasn't for Berry we'd have no talent on this team and there is not one coach that should be retained after this game tonight. Everyone of them should be fired! What an embarrasment for us as VOLS.

Honestly, talent isn't our problem, we are proving what a talented team looks like without a halfway descent QB.

I have queitly stood by and wondered what it would take? I have never thought Fulmer should be fired until the Kentucky game last year. The HEART of the guys pulled us out last year, there isnt enough out there this year.
I honestly believe Phil/John should be removed.
But! Players make plays. We have some exciting players, no doubt, but again we dont have a dominant defensive lineman much less depth. We have a poor qtr back, we have a line that can block for a 3 step drop thats it. We blame Fulmer,we cant hold onto the ROCK, we blame Fulmer,(or his recruit)we cant pass, we blame Clawson, we cant stop the run (when needed) we blame Chavis. the bottom line-
We like STARS,4stars ooh, 5stars ahhhh. Means nothing, the core has rotted.
Attitude, prescence, leadership, real pride in the Orange not the NFL, thats what is missing.
So fire Phil! Fire John! I agree! but be very careful who's greedy palm we grease to deliver us from evil. We are one of maybe 5 schools left that keep things in house, thats Tennessee!

I wonder sometimes, where are all you guys from?
I was born in 76. I didnt know orange for 5 minutes of my life. As stated earlier 3 generations of my family have played football at UT. (what is this utk BS, theres only 1 that matters, F'n idiots, like I would confuse UTC ,or mtsu, or wtnstate ? with UT disgusting!)
Anyway, and I digress, its a 3 headeed dragon that keeps us at bay.
Want to hear more or is the freak'n fishin hole too sweet?
Or is the fact that some tool in Chicago gotcha pissed, cause he cant figure out how to email Fulmer, or is our talent so great that we cant even point out a flaw on a board?

you wonder why Overstreet is a tard? Because he doesnt know any better thats why. He came in when the wave was going out. He got a little taste of what UT WAS about as fans. I dont agree with him, but he never had to deal with you. He is frustrated to, but he has been on the field and knows what its like to be down and out and the NATION will not go queitly into the night! The JD gets flowing, and all the campfire radios crackle, and all the K town bars get quite for just a split second you hear-

I hate that we are the laughing stock of teams that used to be among the best in the country, but I will guarantee you that we will not finish 5-6.
