UT/ UF Game Thread

I thought that Chism played pretty well considering what he was up against.

Uhhh, I don't think you can just add Lofton's possible 20 points to come up with the final score. Wouldn't you have to subtract some points from the other Vol players?

No, Lofton can bend time.

Sure, Lofton would have taken some points away from other UT players. However, he probably would have taken away more points from Florida on steals, forcing charges, etc.

People talk so much about his offense, they forget about his defense, especially during transition.

I was impressed with the second half. We scored 50 points and held Florida to 42. If we could have scored at all in the first half, and done ANYTHING on the boards we would have had a chance. I think the team is growing up and getting closer to playing a FULL game. We have just got to have better shot selection.

Wow . . . I hadn't even considered that we scored 50 in the 2nd half. Granted, Florida wasn't playing with near the intensity after building the huge lead, but it's not easy to score 50 in a half on anybody; much less the #1 team in the country.

Tennessee has been playing a decent half of basketball all season. Now if they could just get that other half up there.

Hey, the second half bodes extremely well for the Vols at home, with a healthy Lofton and Crews, with our fans all over Eddie Munster and the ugliest man in college hoops after Sheldon Williams went to the NBA, the rims and REFS in our favor, and revenge on our minds.

we'll call it right now: tennessee will be the best team in the sec next year....we'll be amazing with the freshmen turning soph. and everyone else grwoing up and lofton staying (hoepfully). florida should lose 4 of their 5 starters and the west will probabely look weak again...the future of tennessee basketball looks very promising.

I thought that Tabb looked pretty solid today also. It was the best game I've seen him play. He had some nice moves to the basket. Maybe he's just one of those guys that need some quality playing time to get it going.

i don't think there is any way lofton would leave. i don't think he is cut out for the pros

I think Tabb has been one of those guys that has not tried to force things on the offensive end. He has let the game come to him and has focused on his defense. He is starting to look more and more comfortable.
