He darn well should be. He has the genes, he's FREAKING tall, shoots the 3, and he's very athletic.

If Chalmers goes pro (which I think he will), UT should win easily, even in Allen Field House (especially if Tyler stays).

However, if Chalmers stays, then you are looking at a great December matchup.

Either way, I will be there!

We may start Tyler at the 3. It will be interesting to find out. It will be a long wait, but at least we have something called football to pass the time. :p

I don't see us winning easily @KU, regardless of their roster next season.

Lucky for KU, the rest of the Big XII North will be horrendous next season. If Chalmers leaves, then KU is going to need immediate impact playing time from three freshman/JC transfers (in that scenario, out of their players with the most minutes played this past season, only 3 of the top 10 will still be on the team...none of the top 5.)

Rock Chalk, guys. Today was not as good as Monday, but hearing Self is staying and UT will be in Lawrence in December is not a bad day!

Welcome to Allen Field House! Seriously, if you can make it to the game, do. AFH is one of the classic "old school" places to see a game. If you love college basketball, you shouldn't miss it!

And speaking of matchups...we're definitely losing Jackson, Kaun, Robinson, almost 100% Rush, and maybe Chalmers. The only reason Chalmers might come back is that his dad is coaching there and it could be a great opportunity to show how he can score when he's not playing on a team with 6 other options and increase his draft status. Collins and Aldrich should be returning with experience.

The guys we have coming in should be good. The two Junior College guys are (or were) 1 and 3 ranked from JC, and the other players are all pretty good. The biggest question is whether the team will jell in just a few months. My guess is, they'll still be pretty raw.

Wow, I'm already counting the days 'til Late Night in The Phog!

 Rock Chalk and Go Vols!

Hey Hat, do you think Allen Fieldhouse has the best atmosphere for a college basketball game (I assume you've probably been there)? Top 3?

There are a few place where you cant see the entire court but it was an awesome experience to watch a game there.

We should be scheduling UT-Martins and Lipscombs, you know, teams that help you get one seeds. Not Kansas.

Bruce is taking a chapter out of Pat's book. Play the toughies and see how you fare. Hey, we beat Memphis who was undefeated at the time. How about adding North Carolina. We already had Gonzaga, Xavier, Texas and some other tough games scheduled. How about adding a Big East School, PAC 10 and Big 10. That would round out the schedule. We don't need more than 2 easy non-conference games on the schedule.
What's the most non-conference games a team can schedule a season?
SI has the men's basketball team ranked 10th next year.
