I would say we could easily get rid of them both by just telling Georgia that they are correct in their assertion of the border. However, that would make me a native Georgian and I think I'd have to go ahead and kill myself.

That makes 2 of us brother...:hi:

I'm assuming you get to Memphis regularly since you're so versed in the city.

I grew up in Chattanooga, and lived in Memphis. Sorry, but their is no comparison. Chattanooga is a great family town, and its quite beautiful, Memphis is what it is.

Chatty is nice. Very vanilla.

Memphis is a great cultural city.

Word to the wise...never allow someone to take you ever further away from the public eye. Make a scene while in the presence of a crowd and you will come out a lot better than if you allow yourself to be led into a secluded place.

Exactly what I was thinking. It can only get worse.

Antioch for sure is one in Nashville. my dad use to live there until it just got too bad for him to stay, so he moved to Green Hills. Which is a great spot. A lot of hot women

Here we go again with the Memphis bashing.

Never let a sucker keep his money and that's what that guy appears to be.

Wow. Never heard this story. That's too bad for this young man. I hope there's not more to this story than is being reported - something strange about a college kid leaving a very crowded party area with someone he doesn't know.

just how bad is Chatt-town? my girlfriend is getting ready to transfer to UTC next year..
I work in the OR at Erlanger so I see all the crap. For a city of this size, there are a ton of stabbings, non fatal shootings, and assaults. Chattanooga just made the top25 for drug trafficing nationally. So that is nice. But if you are smart, it can be safe just like any other city. Most of the crime here is gang related. There have been a few robberies on campus but not many recently.

And Chattanooga is actually supposed to be better than it was 10 to 15 years ago from what I understand. There are some pretty rough areas there though.

It could happen in any big city. When my older brother was 20 years old, he was robbed at gunpoint (in the back), noon time, in downtown Nashville for a whopping $200.

With our sheriff now in the hoosgow for drug trafficking, look for that number to decline....

There are dangerous areas in all citys but there are some citys that are just more dangerous and you have to be more careful. Memphis is such a city. That guys is just a fact and you know it whether you want to admit it or not.

Memphis is a cespool of low class thugs. I left there 8 years ago. The police can't control "those" people and they know it.

I grew up in Antioch. At one time it wasn't a bad place but 15 years ago when i was in high school it had really started to go downhill. It's much worse now. Glad I got out when I did.

You can feel sorry for whatever you want to. I lived in "Mimfus" for 32 years and you know EXACTLY what I am talking about..........That city is rotten from the Mayor down. Crime has taken over. Look what has happend to Hickory Hill in the last decade. The Mall of Memphis CLOSED because of what? CRIME........
