UT signee Dennis Rogan eye opening performance.

Great performance, but he is a little on the small side for a RB.

Yeah I hope he doesn't mind being a DB because that's where I see him spending the most of his time at UT.

I can't even remember what it's like to not get nervous every time a kick starts falling from the sky.

yep, sounds like he's gonna play some QB this year. i'd much rather Berry be doing that.

Yeah, putting a true freshman back there is a recipe for success. Taylor once rushed for 500 yards in a single game as a high school QB. He'll be fine back there.

That was in high school and was it even a good team he was playing. I would rather have Berry or Jones back there and I think it will be one of them.

Yea, Taylor once ran for 500 and threw for 600 in one game, but that as high school. In college he has yet to do anything but turn it over and drop passes.

He hasn't dropped that many passes. Compared to the drops Robert Meachem and Bret Smith had going into their senior years, he's been doing great. As I strongly implied earlier, you're downplaying Taylor's high school performance, yet you're practically calling these newcomers gods, even though they have never played a down of college football.

The turnovers were on special teams. He won't be playing special teams next season. He's never had any turnovers as an offensive player.

I agree with your posts kpt. Lucas Taylor will be fine at QB.

Thanks. It's not that I don't think any of these new guys can do it, but I'd rather not hand over that kind of responsibility to a guy that's hardly been around the UT offense. Taylor's already had some practice playing QB with the UT offense. I doubt we'll be seeing any of these new guys under center. If we're looking to insert an athletic QB into the game, I bet we'll go with Taylor.
